This used to be 5 stars until today! I had the spigots replaced in 2020. every winter I make sure the water is shut off, valves covered and hoses put away. I just turned them back on for spring and had one of the spigots burst shooting water in my workshop. I didn't have a concern since the work done is under warranty, but I was wrong. I was basically called a liar and questioned repeatedly if I left the water on during the winter. They offered to fix it at half the price which says it was my fault. With that said, beware when hiring this company. I don't care to be called a liar by a company who has done work in my home enough to see how I take care of it. Their ethics were answered today. I will say, the service rep and customer service were very professional as I was. Management, not so much!

Website show heating REPAIR diagnostic for $29+SAME DAY SERVICE. The person answered told me $99 is actual price after hour for repair diagnostic. Called before 4PM. Highly unprofessional.

Intelligent Service will attempt to rip you off. This company just quoted me a pipe repair at nearly 4x the rate of other vendors ($1700 vs avg $450) If I'm being generous in how much the materials would cost and how long the job would take, it would have been about $115 per hour labor rate for these guys. I appreciate the skill and knowledge that a trained plumber has, but $115 per hour is beyond insulting to pay for any job. I feel like because I have already paid them $250 for the diagnosis (problem was in the wall, so not immediately visible), they are quoting me well above reasonable rates, thinking I'm already hooked in. It's really too bad because the tech seemed like a good guy and I would have been happy to have them do the work if it wasn't for this extortion attempt. Do not waste your time getting a quote from these guys. I've already lost $250 to them and will not be losing any more.

They have taken care of a sewer problem that could've cost 3 to 4 times more to fix if they didn't resolve it. Our sewer line that goes to the street was about to collapse, they hard lined it (basically angioplasty and relining) from our house to the street. They have all their own equipment as well. If you have ever dealt with fly-bys, which either rent or borrow, you know that is already a bad option to start.

These guys do amazing work, really. High quality, super reliable and I believe they do honest* work. I've had a sump pump replaced plus some work on a thermostat and a furnace.

Here's the thing, they are ridiculously expensive. For the first few jobs I never really got any additional quotes because I was in semi emergency situations but when I was in a position to get a quote, they were hands down the most expensive. Every. Single. Time.

I believe you get what you pay for, but these guys are crazy expensive. They have a nice office, nice trucks, good quoting systems/ERP, and good support...so of course all that costs money.

The truth is you can get the same or better quality of work if you're willing to do your research, but this is a quality company...just really expensive.

INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED & HEART-BROKEN.

1. Covid safety protocols not followed.
2. Hardwood floors greatly damaged.
3. Company took no ownership of the problem.

Rep came in for a consult, wearing a thin buff that kept falling off of his face. One time during the consult he blatantly pulled down the buff to make the point ""Do not buy a touch-free faucet, look at me, do not buy a touch free faucet."" I did not feel safe with them in my home.

After inspecting the floors there were gouges in our hardwood floors. We take pristine care of our floors. And inspect after every outside vendor is in.

The rep did find the issue with our leak. And the initial customer service was good, and it sounded like the company was going to help find a way to solve our issue with the floors being damaged.

Upon talking to a manager, they took no responsibility for the issue, and their response was that they'd tell the team and they would be a stronger company for it. I paid over $4,000 for my new floors. And now they are a mess in the kitchen.

I am INCREDIBLY disappointed in how the situation was handled. At the end of the call to talk about the issues above, the manager simply said ""Well we can agree to disagree."" Completely unacceptable.

Needed immediate service.......reached out and they sent out their technicians very quickly. The whole team was extremely professional/detail oriented. Communication in all aspects was better than any company I have dealt with. I have worked with this company before and can't say enough good things! Intelligent Services to the rescue again!

I've had a handful of jobs done by them, and I think they do a great job. Joe as well as others have been knowledgeable and helpful while coming up with creative solutions. The folks that take calls and schedule are usually polite and helpful. Also, the pricing seems reasonable based on other companies I have worked with.
