This company is doing work for my neighbors, they parked in my handicapped parking, when asked nicely the gentleman, and I use that word loosely, informed me ""You mean the two spaces"" in an arrogant manner. Needless to say it is one. I would hope he doesn't treat all your customers in that manner. I do foster care for Developmentally Disabled adults, they should be able to come and go safely.

Integrity (noun): adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
If I could rate Integrity Restoration & Mechanical Services with zero stars I would. Integrity was recommended to us by our lender. We closed on our house with a renovation loan to remodel the kitchen, and restore the existing wood floors of our early 1900s house. The project started out well with Integrity. They were responsive and said they were willing to work with who we wanted to use for various items such as the kitchen cabinets, countertops etc. However, it seemed to quickly slip downhill from here. We had planned to move in a little over a month after we closed on the house and we did not expect all of the work to be done, but asked if it would be possible to just have the floors finished so that we don't have complications of shuffling two living rooms and a dining room worth of furniture around and having it covered in dust from sanding the floors. As of the first meeting (the next week after we closed), they said that was no problem, the floors could be finished, but the kitchen wouldn't be. This was great news. Well here we are- we have been moved in now for over a month, and half of the first floor is demoed, and the floors are not finished. That is because Integrity quit on us about a week before we were supposed to move in (talk about an unbearable amount of stress). The kitchen is demoed, the half bath is demoed, and they left all of the staples and nails in the floor in the dining room and family room where they pulled up carpet. So needless to say, we have to confine our dog to the second floor and carry her out the house every time we need to take her out. It's ridiculous. But that's just the icing on the cake. To back up (and to summarize): we had several other issues with this company. First of all they misquoted a few key (and pricey items). They did not include any price to upgrade the electric in the kitchen to bring it up to code. Even though on day 1 when Brad came out to quote the project I told him this. Which I shouldn't really need to be responsible for telling them. If they have done home renovations before then they should know to what level you are renovating, you will be required to bring certain items up to code- and they will need to pass inspection. This was about $2600 that we were looking to pay for out of pocket. On top of that, they changed their position on the wood floors and went from telling us the existing is salvageable and could be refinished to us needing new wood floors in entry, half bath, kitchen, family room and possibly living room. While this was not ideal news, we had budgeted for new wood floors as a worse case scenario. Well they were not priced correctly. I mentioned 2 or 3 times on day 1 again that new wood floors should match the existing with the picture frame installation, and did not want the typical straight random plank. This being my first home and first home renovation, I have no idea what wood floors cost, so when I saw the price originally on the quote it was not a red flag to me that the price was too low. They were now saying it was probably going to cost x3 as much to get the floors we wanted. My husband and I were looking to pay about $7k out of pocket now, and that's on top of the $4k of money available for emergency funds from the lender which was spoken for. But, I think what made our experience with them absolutely awful was their lack of ""integrity"". They called me a liar and told me I never mentioned the items above (which I did not appreciate). And despite this my husband and I were still trying to figure out how to work with them. But once I stood up for myself and simply said I did indeed tell them about these items, I received a text saying ""we are no longer interested in working on your project"". And to really step out on a high note- Joe Brown (who turned out to be somewhat of a hot head), proceeded to attack my character and sent me a text saying ""if I was interior designer I should have had plans and elevations and specifications"" for what I wanted in this renovation. To which I have two thoughts- I know that is not normal practice, because most home owners wouldn't have that capability or means to produce their own drawings and probably aren't sure what specifications are. And secondly, if you felt that lost as to what I was asking for, why didn't you just ask me for a drawing? And last, but not least- we have officially cut ties with this company and I have politely emailed twice and texted them to please come get their lock box off of our front door and pick up some belongings they left here and they will not respond to me and have not come by to get any of their things. This company has absolutely NO integrity and I would not recommend them.
