Integrity Repipe
Company Overview
Copper repiping
Integrity Repipe operates as a family-owned legacy company. We were voted the leading Turnkey Repiping Company across the United States by a community of 320,000 homeowners who experienced our repiping services during the Cox vs Shell Polybutylene class action lawsuit.
Cox vs Shell marked a unique opportunity where leading repipe companies vied for recognition on a national scale.
My journey began with union training in 1973. In 1990, I began my career at a repipe company, teaching drywallers and painters. I soon discovered that the plumbers were not equipped to take homes apart. I began overseeing the copper repiping process and developed methods for layout, routing, and staging.
I began my first Uponor Pex A installations in 1993. By 1995, I was repiping 10 homes and 8 apartments daily across multiple states for 16 years.
2012 saw my move to Oceanside, where I took up tuna fishing. I have chosen to repipe only 3 homes weekly, which is all I will take on. I pride myself on having zero complaints for any repipe, drywall, or painting work. With a Master's in Business Management, my daughter is set to take over when I finish my career.

Monday: Sal's crew of four showed up promptly at 7:30am. They spent at least an hour taping down tarps and sectioning off our house in plastic. Then the noise - so much noise. 60 holes, upstairs/downstairs - 3 bathrooms, laundry, and kitchen. They would have been done by 3pm, but there was a problem with the main from the street. Not their fault, and they were very professional with the repair - then checked the house thoroughly. No leaks, no problems - out the door by 5pm.
They were so organized. One of the crew was the ""facilitator"". She kept the guys loaded up on supplies, and handled the constant cleanup. I swear she left the house cleaner than when they started.
Tuesday: Started with a plumber to fix a drainage pipe Sal spotted - a leak due to glue failure, an old house. A quick 30 minutes, and $200 later - leak fixed, and that future problem avoided. The city inspector showed up an hour later - a quick walk through, and gave his approval to proceed.
Wednesday: Ty and the patch/texture guys (just three of them) showed up promptly at 7:30am. Again, an hour of taping tarps, and sectioning off rooms with plastic sheets. Then the magic - amazing to watch! These guys know what they're doing. Did I mention the two stucco holes in the back - chicken wire, scratch, then stucco texture. Everything blends perfectly. Once painted, we won't be able to see where the holes were. Magic! They even textured the garage to match whatever garage texture was there. The garage!
60 holes patched and textured (perfectly) by 3pm. A quick vacuum, and swipe of the counters - and we could start unpacking our bins.
Thursday: A quick chat for the final inspection, and except for the painting we're done.
It's like it never happened - except did I mention the water pressure? And the quick hot water? Not sure how that happened - old lukewarm water pushed through the pipes quicker? The hot PEX wrapped in insulation keeping the unused water in the pipes warmer? Both? Whatever, it's lovely.
If we'd known it was this easy, we would have done the repipe sooner. I was so stressed out. And the yelp complaints about mess made me even more nervous. The crews did their very best to contain the mess. Carefully rolling up the plastic so that they could take the debris with them - and they were 98% effective. A quick vacuum, and wiping down a few surfaces was not difficult.
Integrity Repipe are professionals that know what they're doing. They know how to take care of all situations. They made the process smooth and easy. We highly recommend Integrity Repipe!

This company is very professional and I wouldn't go with anyone else. They did an awesome job on our house!! Thank you, Integrity Repipe!

The crew makes a big difference in the company's ratings.
A friend got a great crew and got a nice job done. However, I ended up with a crew that were very sloppy. They actually damaged some things along the way. It cost me more in the long run to hire another company to correct and fix the drywall and texture.

I reviewed the Porter Ranch location by mistake but the main office is in San Clemente. I had a slab leak starting 2/4/2023. I had another plumbing crew try to perform some repairs and bypasses, but in the end, every interim step caused other pipes to fail. After nearly 2 weeks with no water I called Integrity repipe after seeing some of their YouTube videos about pex repipe, and I'm so glad I did! They came and quoted me a price the next day, and it was half the price of a copper repipe! And it would be done in a day vs 7-10 days. That's 6 full baths where we replaced the shower fixture in 5 of them, one half bath, 3 sinks, 3 hose bibs, plus an extra outdoor utility sink stub in in one day! New angle stops eveywhere too! No copper except my island sink where some copper had to be exposed in cabinets for durability purposes vs Pex. Let me recap the process. When they arrived in 5 days from contract start (they were busy), it was a crew of 11 including a full time cleaning member plus the 10 person plumbing crew. They went to work and didn't stop the whole day. Masking, plastic wrap, Cutting and immediate cleanup throughout the day. Mopping of spills throughout the day too, no leaving a mess as they worked section-by-section. They helped me move all my large items to make room for work at the start of the day. I had water that night, and it was so nice! The drywall patching crew came the next week after rough inspection pass with 0 issues. They were done in 2 days, and aside from the color mismatch as I have glossy ceilings in several rooms, and the drywall texture is matte, you can hardly tell that I had 80 feet of ceiling trenches where the Pex was run! Really top notch. Water pressure is damn near perfect, hot water comes right away now that recirculating line actually goes to farthest fixture! I'm still tickled about just how much better it is. Sure I had to pay $25k, but that's half of the competing copper repipe solutions $45-$53k and those didn't include new shower fixtures. I still cannot believe it was all done in a day and passed inspection with no notes from the city. Noel, my sales rep, the crews, Joe Ludlow the owner, and Heather the office manager were all great to work with and made sure all my questions were answered. Thank you.

We expected a slab leak was inevitable so we got a quote ahead of time. A representative from Integrity arrived on time, inspected the house and took time to explain the process and answer our questions.
2 weeks later, the unthinkable happened and we were forced to shut off the water to avoid damage. Usually when you need a repipe, it's emergent. We were worried we would be without water for weeks. Integrity was at our home within 3 days. The workers arrived by 8 am on Friday and had the entire house repiped by 2 pm! They were thoughtful of covering our belongings and cleaning up before leaving.
Permits were pulled on Monday, the City Inspector signed off the work on Tuesday and Integrity patched all the stucco and drywall on Wednesday. I worked construction for years and I'm very particular with my home. I was very impressed and happy with the quality of their work and their effort to clean up after themselves.
Thank you Integrity Repipe for your excellent customer service, your reasonable pricing and your attention to detail! We finally have peace of mind knowing our plumbing is good.

My initial impression with Integrity Repipe was excellent. The sales rep answered all my questions and seemed honest. Where they failed miserably is during their drywall patching. The patch job in certain areas was totally unacceptable. There were also traces of sealant foam stains on our floors, walls, and doors. Several text messages and voicemails were left but no one returned my call. Total let down.

The Repipe crew arrived on time and did their job. They cleaned up when they left.
The drywall crew was a nightmare. Drywall crew did not protect anything in my house, no paper or plastic was used to cover floors, cabinets, or anything. House was left with a massive amount of drywall mud and drywall dust. New (never used) bathroom fixtures were caked with drywall mud. Drywall was left on cabinets, floors and everywhere in the house.
Joe, the owner, tried to blame us for some of the issues. He was extremely unprofessional. After several conversations, Joe agreed it was his crew that made the mess. Joe asked that I get someone to clean the tile/grout and a second crew to clean drywall mud. I thought he should take care of this, but Joe said he couldn't find a company to do the cleaning and he couldn't find a tile/grout cleaning company. I found a company and hired them. After the tile was cleaned, and the worker was waiting for payment, I called Joe and asked him to pay. Joe hung up on me. I paid for the tile/grout cleaning. I paid for cleaning supplies and a separate crew to clean walls, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, including scrubbing with a toothbrush to get drywall off.
Drywall is on my cabinets and some of the stain is off. The cabinets were stained by a licensed professional contractor the week before Joe's company did drywall work. Joe is not willing to pay for cabinet cleaning or damage. Joe said that his drywall and drywall mud did NOT cause damage to my cabinets.
When I asked Joe for reimbursement for cleaning, he told me I owe him $1,000. I agree I owe $1,000 when the job is complete. His contract reads $1,000 due when drywall is complete. His contract also reads, that when final payment is made, that I waive all rights to damages. So, do I pay the $1,000 when drywall is complete or when the job is complete including deficiencies and final permit is signed off? If you decide to hire this company, it would be a good idea to ask for clarification and have them agree in writing that final payment is due when the job is complete, including excess cleaning and damages taken care of.
I understand sometimes things go wrong on jobs; however:
A company with INTEGRITY would admit their mistakes and take responsibility.
A company with INTEGRITY would take care of the mess and the damages that they caused. They would pay for all deficiencies that they caused.
A company with INTEGRITY would not think I should make final payment until all work, including all cleaning and damages are taken care of.
Look at the pictures and decide for yourself if you want this company to do work in your home. I would NOT hire them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. We are 68 years old and this is NOT what we expected from this company.
Update: The drywall should have been completed on January 31, 2022. Delay after delay, excuse after excuse, I am finally done dealing with Joe. On February 25, 2022, Joe reimbursed me for some of the cleaning that I had paid out; he kept $1,000 that would have been my final payment.
Joe replied on my other review that there was some miscommunication and I should call them. I have pages and pages of notes of the ""miscommunication"". This wasn't a matter of a billing question. I'm not sure what miscommunication Joe is referring to. Me paying for all his crews mistakes to be fixed and cleaned up? I have text message after text message documenting what was said and done everyday. ""Miscommunication"" is an understatement! As far as the work being up to par, pictures speak for themselves.

Look no further. Integrity Repipe helped us turn around a bad situation (slab leak) into a good experience. They were honest, responsive, priced right and did quality work.
Communication was so easy. They set up a message group with all the key players at their company so all we had to do is text our question and the responsible person would give us a swift answer.
Other companies told us we would have to wait at least 3 weeks for the inspection before patching the holes due to Covid. Integrity got the inspector out the day after the install! Patched the next business day and we we were good to go. You would never know where the holes in the drywall were.
We now have better water pressure and the water gets hot super quick because it doesn't have to go through the cold slab. But best if all we can sleep soundly knowing that leaks are a thing of the past.

Highly recommend Integrity Repipe. They did an amazing job on the repipe and repatching of all the holes. They were very cost effective, efficient, and managed to complete the job within 3 days including the city's inspection. I would not bother wasting my time with some of the competitors.

The entire crew were amazing . Highly recommend them. Joe ( the business owner) is very responsible and kindly answer all questions
