English Madden grew up in Birmingham, AL, immersed in plumbing. Hailing from a family of 14, with 11 brothers and 3 sisters, he was mentored by his father and brother Jason. Following six years of mentorship, English advanced to lead technician at a mechanical firm in Birmingham. He worked on significant projects, including those for the University of Alabama, Children's Hospital, and Regions Park.

He then took a position at his brother Dustin's company, where he managed the service department. Dustin emphasized to English that ""This isn't merely a job; it's about creating connections with customers.""

After relocating to Huntsville at the end of 2018 with his 10-year-old son, he concluded that Huntsville was the best place for them to thrive.
