I had Integrity come out for a slab leak. They charged me $300 to identify a leak they never identified and gave me two options:

1. Jackhammer the slab, find the leak and repair. This was going to cost $4,269.

Great idea except for the fact that my slab is post tension and it can't be done.

2. A re-rout, which would require tearing up 6 tiles in my tile floor and 80 ft of pipe. This was going to cost $11,239

I got a second company out, Proserv, and they did the re-rout for $1,800.

Companies like this give plumbing a bad name. They're always looking to take advantage of someone's unfortunate situation.

Greenstar Home Services recently bought Integrity Plumbing. Since we had used Integrity Plumbing for many years and found them to be so honest and fair we felt that the previous owner would not have sold his company to an unethical corporation! Wrong!! We had a single handle shower valve installed , he was here a little over two hours and we were charged $1,618. Although it was explained to us that we could try and fix the two handle shower, it was only a temporary fix and would have to be done frequently. We were shown the cost, however, after checking on the cost of the single handle shower valve ($139 at Lowe's) and realizing that it took less than three hours (that is including leaving to ""purchase"" the valve), we believe we were taken huge advantage of with this outrageous cost. We sent a letter to the company with no response, I called the company and was told that the managers were on a ""conference call"" and that someone would get back to us in an hour, it didn't happen. I called today and finally spoke to a manager who babbled away their costs and asked how he could appease me? Really, immediately we should have received a response. This is not a company to be trusted!!

Once good company gone VERY wrong..

I had used Integrity Plumbing a few times for some fairly minor issues at my moms place. I initially found them because they advertised in the local paper (Casta Del Sol). After the first visit I used them a few additional times because they were friendly and prices seemed fair.... then things went sour.

I had noticed some water on my mom dryer, in the garage, one day. After some investigating I realized that one of the pipes above had a small leak so I went to the phone to call Integrity. It was a Friday and was offered a Sat appointment but told them the issue wasn't bad and we could wait till Monday(ish), knowing that plumbers easily charge time and a half and/or double for weekend service calls. The lady on the phone told me that as long as we scheduled the appointment before 12noon then it was still considered ""regular' hours. So I scheduled an early morning appointment.

Since I work at night I arranged for my mom to be the one who dealt with the guy in the morning I looked on the counter to see a receipt for 285 dollars. Inquired with my mom just what they had done and how stinking long it took. She said they just replaced a small piece of piping that had a pin hole and were gone in just about an hour. ....275 for an hour of work and a 3 inch piece of pipe!?? I don't think so.

So I called to tell them I wanted to know just HOW they got to that price. First guy was the one who came out and just said, ""I dont make the prices. I just charge what they tell me""..so I was turned over to the owner next.

First he said he would lower the price to $220. I asked for him to tell me how he got to that price. Then he said he would lower it to $175 but that's as low as he would go. ...umm, ok. He still wouldn't give me a break down in his charges. But at this point I didn't want to deal with this guy anymore and 175 was ABOUT what I had figured it would cost (on the highest side) So I just said ""fine"" so I could be done with these crooks. he then has the nerve to end our conversation by saying something like, ""Next time you guys should call....(such and such company)...they charge a lot more than us"" It was all I could do to not lay into this dude but he wasn't worth my time or energy.

Now, about 3 months later we receive an Email from our association stating (and I quote)

""ATTENTION RESIDENTS!""
Integrity Plumbing, a preferred vendor for the Association, has merged with another firm, Greenstar Home Services, and is no longer price competitive. Because Greenstar will not negotiate their prices, the Association will no longer honor their invoices.
Please note: If you call Integrity Plumbing at their phone number, the phone is answered as Integrity Plumbing and no indication is made that it is another company""

""INTEGRITY Plumbing""..... I think not.

The team at Integrity is just great. Honest and very helpful. Have no idea about their driving record, but from a plumbing perspective, they are great. Chuck had his team out asap the week of Thanksgiving. I call on Integrity for any plumbing and/or air conditioning issues we have.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. A referral from Facebook friends, Dan showed up at my door on time and with one of the most personable attitudes you'll ever find. Did a professional job while keeping costs down, explaining his decisions all along the way. We had put off calling a plumber for some time, so we had several things to fix. Dan said his philosophy is to do what he would do for family. And the bill was exactly what Dan says he hears a lot -- 'I thought it was going to be a lot more.' Dan says too many people get roped into more well-known plumbing outfits who over-charge. Again, pleasant experience all around.
