James Q.Ed dropped everything he was doing and came right over to fix my outdoor spigot. With little area to work with he improvised a drill bit tool to get the job done. He installed a top of line fitting that won't freeze in the cold. He made sure all the fittings were secure and easily accessible. Plus the bottom line he didn't gouge me.
Lubie A.Ed Heath is one of the best plumbers or workers we've had. We had a leak in the kitchen ceiling & 3 different companies came & gave us huge estimates: ripoung out the ceiling, doing this, that. Ed came, diagnosed a small piercing in the pipe after having patiently examined everything. We expedted a huge bill- it was beyond reasonable & honest. Then he gave us a hand with an AC problem. What a knowledgeable person. Great worker! Recommend him without any reservation! 203-500-8777.
Frank B.Besides using Yelp, here's how I got to Integrity. I have been using, let's call them W. R, for the 5 years since we bought this house. In that time we spent nearly $3300. in septic repair and pumping for a family of 2. They told me they knew my system and that sounded like a good reason to hire them. I agreed to a repair shortly after the first visit. When I asked for a layout drawing they sent one. When the technician came he was using a different one. One tank was mislabeled. The repair was done on the wrong tank and I got some concession but the communication continued to get worse. Recently we had a backup and called for a pump out. They came the next day. That guy told me I should have the main line cut cleaned and jetting was not a fix but a patch. He promised me the cutter would call and the work would be done that day. This was still in the am but by around 3 I was getting worried. I called and asked for the service manager and was told ""We'll see if he can call you back."" 3 days later and no call. When I got word that my credit card was charged it came in an email recommending jetting! The first day of no-call-back I gave up and called Ed at Integrity. He came the same afternoon after driving an hour, stayed until the drain was clear leaving at 7:30 pm and he did everything manually, with no machines! Half of this time he was laying on his belly with his head and hands down a hole in the yard! Also, he was working at the tank entry which in five years WR never exposed. Edward knows his stuff and I highly recommend him. If you can tolerate his #1 and #2 jokes, all the better. His repair cost was very reasonable considering 2 hours of travel.
Kathy A.We had a huge septic problem where we couldn't flush any toilet or run any water. We also had a burst pipe that we tried fixing ourselves but was unable to fix it. We called two companies but got nowhere so I did a quick search online for affordable plumbers and Edward Heath's company came up. We contacted him right away and he showed up pretty fast. He took a look at our septic and said exactly what needed to be done. He also told us about our water softener which should be draining into our septic tank. He said he would like to have it drain in a different spot. We also had him look at the burst pipe. He said he could fix all of it for a very reasonable price. The burst pipe fixed first, which he did an amazing job and then started on the septic system. By the time he was done our septic was working perfectly and we were finally able to flush toilets plus run water. At the completion we told him anytime we needed something fixed we would call him. He recently helped us out with a oil tank gauge and just finished replacing another burst pipe. I absolutely recommend this guy to fix whatever you need!!!
So below is the exact text conversation I had with the ""owner"" of Integrity Plumbing and Septic, one of a few business names Mr. Heath has had in his 34 year career. Please read before you think about hiring this extremely unprofessional con. He contacted me through a marketing company named Networx Lead and when I called them and complained about his demeanor they told me he was ""blacklisted"" and should not be doing work for them. He likely was able to stay on the list due to simply changing his business name. Last known business name was Intelligent Septic Solutions & Renaissance Man Plumbing Services. Not only did he show up late as you can see in the text which I gave him the benefit of the doubt but he was lacking a simple tool (digging bar) which I supplied but he had no card, no paper estimate even when I asked for a written estimate and sketch as well he failed to provide anything other than a wacky high dollar estimate. Oh and he also rents all his machines and trailers...sure sign of a bad contractor. He was extremely upset and confrontational when I tried to explain that he was the first estimate and I was seeking other options. Truth be told, I wouldn't hire this person to dig a mailbox post.
Normally I would not spend my time on a case like this and I would just let it go, however I feel that if I don't let it be know to the others out there that may not be as experienced with contractors that this con could take advantage of other hard working innocent people out there. Please don't be intimidate by bullies like this and do you research.
the below text shows the conversation between myself and Edward Heath....enjoy!
ED Hello Mr. Ross this is Edwards from integrity plumbing septic and drain it was supposed to be there at 10 o'clock but my father is in a rest home and having a tough day so I'm going to probably be about an hour late. Sorry for my tardiness please let me know if this is OK or if you want me to reschedule
RR That's fine
ED Good morning Mr. Ross; I was wondering if you were going to have me actually do some work to prevent your basement from getting flooded again?
RR Ed I think we are considering the inside pump up system in place of the outside pump set up. Thank you.
ED OK but from now on I have to charge for going out and doing quotes because the company that you went through charges me $40 for that lead and then of course I drove from North Stonington and back which was 108 miles with my truck that gets around 12 miles to the gallon x 2.90 gallon = $26.
Good luck with your indoor, underground system.
RR You probably should let the company know about the charges.
ED What company? Between my gas and paying for leads I lost over $60 going to your place the other day you said it was like a emergency and it really wasn't
RR I dont know what company gave you the lead...don't you know?....an emergency is viewed differently by everyone.
ED You indicated to the company that you were at that I get my lead from that it was an emergency plus when we spoke on the phone I told you I was going to drive a long distance I did not want to be doing it for somebody just looking for ideas and kicking tires looking for a quote
RR What's the name of your buisness?
ED I don't think I'm gonna get any money from you so I'm not gonna bother giving it
RR Good luck amateur
ED Have a good day man and like good luck with your in the basement small service area system
ED I've been in business for over 34 years having to hold hands for stupid people like you that don't know how to go about asking for something
ED Just remember Karma will come back and bite you in the ass that I can guarantee may not be next week or next month but it will happen
RR Just so u know all these texts are being sent to the company that referred you to me.
RR Integrity plumbing and septic 12 main st Clinton. That was easy.
We called Edward in a true state of panic. We had been out of town for a few weeks and it was terribly cold, and after a few toilet flushes, found our basement bathroom full of sewage that had backed up.
It was Sunday (of course) so we used Yelp to find 24 hour help. Integrity does not have any reviews but we called, as he is close and we liked the name.
Edward is GREAT. He's accessible and responsive and smart, but most importantly he fixed our problem. He knew what it was (frozen septic line), tried an easy fix (hot water) and pumped the yucky stuff out, then called in others to help him w A harder but still relatively reasonable fix. He went to the town hall to get maps of our septic tank, found it, dug out the inlet, called a steam guy, and fixed it. Along the way he showed us things about our septic system that we didn't want to know, but need to know.
Call Edward at Integrity. I never write reviews but you should know there's a person who is hardworking, smart, and can help you!
