They replaced a sump pump, it took 1 hour and he stayed another 45 minutes until the basement drained. They charged me $1,150.00 the invoice did not brake down how much was for parts and how much was labor. I later checked around and found the pump would not of cost over $300.00 and another plumber told me labor should have been around $150.00 that means they gouged me $700. Thats a lot of money for a disabled senior citizen trying to get by on social security. I will not recommend them to anyone.
Steven B.When I needed a plumber and started to ask friends and family who to use, I kept getting the same answer, Inspector Plumber. So of course, I gave them a try. Now, if anyone ask me for a plumber recommendation, I will be giving the same answer, Inspector Plumber.
When I went to turn the controls for my outdoor faucet on, it started to leak. So, I immediately turned it back off and started my search for the plumber. Once I decided to use, Inspector Plumber, I gave them a call. The receptionist /dispatcher was extremely professional and friendly. I believe her name was Courtney. She asked questions to help her understand my needs and situation. As we chatted, I told her my availability. Once she had all the information she needed, she asked me to hold for a moment. To my surprise, when she came back to the phone, she told me that she had someone available as soon as they finished their lunch break. WOW! that was quick service. I was use to big city waits, so this impressed me.
I had a team of two arrive, the lead was Chase. I showed them my plumbing issue, they evaluated and provided me with an estimate. Chase also, pointed out something else that should be addressed. While some of you would say that was an up sale, I say it's good customer service. It was an update that I knew needed to be done in a 60 year old home. He gave me two bids, one for what I called about and one including the update to my main waterline faucet. Both estimates were very reasonable, especially with my 5% discount for being a senior.
After seeing what they needed to fix my issues, they excused themselves to run to the local plumber supply store to buy supplies. Once they returned, working as a team, they had everything completed in under 2 1/2 hours. After working, they cleaned up and left my home as it was when they arrived. I liked that they documented their work with photos attached to my invoice.
If I need a plumber in the future, I'll be calling Inspector Plumber again. I've added them to my contacts in my smart phone to make life easier. Also, if anyone ask me for a plumber recommendation, I can easily send it to them.
Called for a quote. They came out the next day and started just a few days later. The employees are very respectful and hard workers. Excellent job!
Inspector Plumber response to price gouging in my review stated: ""We apologize if you feel that the price was not accurately communicated to you initially.""
NO price was communicated to me at all when I called them for the repair work. Obviously, if Inspector Plumber had stated ""our initial bill will be $2,328"" (an overcharge of approximately $1,600) I would have said good-by immediately.
I had a plugged drain in my kitchen. not knowing who to call , I tried Inspector Plumber. Thirty minutes later and with $300 less in my pocket, the drain was cleared.
Ashlen H.We needed our sewer line replaced and we were told by other companies they would need to tear off our entire deck to do so, along with other high cost charges. Inspector Plumber did the job at a fraction of the cost the other guys were quoting us at - and they saved my deck! The entire staff is so friendly and kind, we are customers for life. They really went out of their way to ensure a job well done for us.
I was able to get a plumber in same day and pipes fixed by the next! Staff was super nice and helped me from stressing out sense I was getting married that weekend!
Daryn B.Decided it was time to replace the water heater. Figured I would try a tankless one. I went on the popular website for find people to handle your home improvements and had a popular company sent out for an estimate. They looked at the project, suggested the water heater unit then gave me an estimate on the spot. By giving I don't mean printing it out or emailing me a quote but rather just showing me the cost on his screen. He could see the sticker shock and suggested a payment option over 7 years like I was buying an expensive car. He then proceeded to tell me how this will be saving me money in as little as 6 months and increase the value of my home. How am I saving in 6 months if I'm making payments as large as my utility bill? He then left leaving me with nothing but a business card. Long story short, I called Inspector Plumber for a second estimate.
The representative arrived on time and evaluated the project. He took measurements and pictures so that he can go back to his office and evaluate the project before giving me a price. He explained what he would need to do and what would need to be done after. The next day I received an email explaining cost options and timing. The cost was a major difference for what I recall to be the same brand name unit installed. I quickly accepted the quote and set up an appointment for later that week.
Two technicians showed up on time to begin the project. With having to replace and reroute existing plumbing, adding new venting and a new circuit to the electric panel this was a full day project. However, at the end of the day the project was completed as promised. I now have the water heater I wanted for the price that seemed fair from a local company that seems to respect their clients. Inspector Plumbing will definitely be my first call next time I have plumbing needs.
The team at Inspector Plumbing is great! Michelle does an exceptional job at assessing your needs, answering your questions and dispatching the right technicians for your service. Scott is a master of his trade, knowledgeable and priority driven; makes himself available to his staff and customers. The technicians are incredibly polite, friendly, informative and skilled. They make sure to wear masks, booties and thoroughly clean up their work space before leaving. Upon presenting service invoice the services are reviewed and explained and if follow up services are suggested an estimate is sent to you. Just an all around wonderful customer experience.
Josh N.We had a clogged drain line. I called Tiger out since they were the first hit on google with good reviews. They came in with a 20$ higher base fee and higher hourly rate than Inspector Plumber. The technician started trying to sell me a job to replace the stack before even looking at the issue. After about 30 minutes, he came to me and said he had damaged my plumbing and we would need to replace the entire stack, otherwise they didn't really know what to do.
That didn't sit right for me so I contacted Inspector Plumber. They were on site before Tiger could even reschedule me and within an hour had snaked the line and removed the clog.
The tech, Kurt, was professional and friendly. The person who answered the phone, Michelle was quick and sent me a follow up with Kurt was close.
All around great experience.
As for price, I feel like what I paid for my services was fair.
