Since I was going to replace my hardwood floor and heating system, I decided to give radiant heating a try. The regular HVAC companies in bay area don't even know what radiant heating is. So I gave up on them. And then I came across Innovative Radiant Heating. After contacting them through Yelp, we scheduled a free appointment to see if I can even get radiant heating installed in my home. So Ramnar showed up to my place and told me I can install radiant heating under my subfloor and I didn't even need to remove the existing hardwood floor. He told me he could set it up for me in one business week. He came to my plsvr with his colleague and set up the radiant heating on time as promised. Since my hardwood floor was pretty old, I got it replaced regardless. However, two of the pipes were damaged during that work. After my hardwood floor was installed, Ramnar came back to my place and identified all the leaks and fixed the damaged pipes very quickly. He's very knowledgeable and provided me all the information about the type of wood and underlayment that I needed to get the best heat out of my floor.

I'm writing this review sitting at home without cold feet, which was always an issue in winter time.

Ramnar (the Owner) was very awesome to come to my house this evening at a late hour (7:30PM). He drove a very long way from Fairfield (sorry Ramnar!!!). Our ""radiant floor heating"" suddenly stopped working a few days ago. I barely understand what ""radiant floor heating"" is or how it works. Anyway, Ramnar showed up, fixed it immediately, and provided us with advice on how to keep it maintained going forward. A very good and trustworthy guy (plus a life saver because we were starting to freeze)!!! I very highly recommend this company!!!

I'm compelled to post again. The work Ramnar does is still absolute top notch. He diagnoses and solves problems with water heaters and plumbing extremely accurately and comes up with very helpful advice. We trust no one else. Our house is now 25 years old and thanks to him taking care of a few issues over the years everything is running smoothly. Consistently trustworthy and fair priced as usual. 25 years of perfect radiant heating and a great relationship with Ramnar and his wife Elena. I also really like supporting small businesses like theirs because their hard work and expertise has to be recognized and appreciated.

I've been wanting to install a tankless water heater for some time now. I wasn't expecting my water heater to fail on me as soon as it did, but things happen. I went out and bought a tankless and then started looking for companies to do the install as that's the only way to preserve the warenty. I had three different companies in mind, but Innovative Radiant Heating was the company I went with more for the fact that they're local and I like to support local businesses. We talked, got a quote, and they showed up on time to do the work. They did a great job and were pleasant to talk to. Everything works great, and we're stoked. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of installation.

Best decision ever, hiring this crew to replace a couple ancient cast iron boilers. He worked very intelligently to tie in a modern mod/con boiler with my gorgeous old radiators. Everything is working perfectly. Very happy. I made a lengthy search of boiler/radiant companies, and they were all scared to take on my project, or they were overpriced, or they didn't seem very knowledgeable or patient. Innovative scored on each of those. Highest recommendation!

We knew our house had radiant heat set up, but the boiler was old and had not been working. For 3+ years we were trying to find someone who would help us confirm that the pipes in the floor are fully functional and have no leaks. Ramnar was incredible - he came to evaluate what was in the house and what was necessary. Less than a week later, he came with a temporary boiler and set it up within 2 hours to run and test the tubes. He then used a heat sensor to show that the system was working throughout the entire house and we can't wait to swap out the temporary boiler and install a permanent one. Highly recommend!

These guys are great!!
We bought a new to us home in rural Vacaville with a very nice HVAC system that had a small issue that turned out to be just a maintenance issue I was not aware of. Ramnar returned my call and came out right away in the evening and did a full service check up on our system and even corrected an issue caused by the solar company that inspected our attic for a solar installation. He explained the system to me and was very friendly and professional. I will not hesitate to use this company in the future.

Woke up to an ice cold house this morning. Found innovative Radiant Heating on Yelp and called them. Was fortunate to get a same day appointment. Ramnar arrived right within the anticipated time window, and proceeded to (1) test our radiant floor system (2) diagnose the problem (a broken pump from too much air in the system) (3) call the parts dealer (4) pick up the part (5) replace the broken pump and (6) show me what to do if the system starts gurgling too much and pressure drops. All of this accomplished in 2 hours and 15 minutes!
Ramnar was very professional and friendly, and we will definitely call them a gain for any future issues.

I will begin by saying that there is nothing better in winter than radiant heat, I mean the whole house is warm to the touch and no dry air blowing on you. So when my radiant heat boiler died last winter, we were very sad, so this summer I had three companies bid on the work to replace it. All three bids were competitive, but Innovative seemed to be the most complete, a great price, and we just liked Ramnar in general. He came right on time when scheduled and quickly and efficiently installed a new boiler. Now as it turns out, there was a leak in one of the pipes in the floor, so he recommended a specialist to find it. The specialist came out and put an 'X' on the floor like a treasure map. Ramnar came out the next Monday and jack-hammered to find and replace the leaky section of pipe. Again, he was fast, efficient, clean, and the fix worked perfectly. He patiently had me test the system and now it works as it should. I am waiting for winter to start and set it for 70 degrees and forget it until next spring. I cannot say enough good things about Innovative, as they are friendly when you call, fast to respond, and their work is really excellent. On a side note, they even installed a few sink fixtures in my bathroom and kitchen I had been meaning to do, and at a great price. For anything related to radiant heating, this should be your first and last call.
