Called these guys because my heat pump was running on auxiliary (expensive) guy came out and checked and couldn't find anything wrong? Told my wife the filter was in backwards, she explained that the arrows point in the direction of air flow, he said he didn't know they had arrows on them?? Charged $100 for diagnosis and said to call if the issue persists. Well the next morning it was on auxiliary so we called and got no answer, left message and they didn't even call Monday. I had the unit repaired and called to get a refund and they weren't about to return my money!! I will never call these people again and hope anyone reading this doesn't either!!

Excellent experience with this company! Our heat wasn't working and the company that installed our unit was too busy to fix it but Inner City Trades came out within two hours after we called, and fixed the problem including time to go get a part in two hours. The technician was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service and they didn't over charge.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Called about a leak, but these guys don't want to be bothered it seems (even though it was clearly an HVAC leak). ICT lady sent HVAC guy, who looked around and collected ~$90 and then never called back like he said he would the next day or day after otherwise. Weeks later and problems NOT solved.
Why is it SO FEW CONTRACTORS EVER SEEM TO WANT TO WORK, EVEN WITH MONEY READY TO BE SPENT?
Must be a sweet life picking and choosing to work only if you feel like it. Going around and collecting $90 for a $20 visit I guess does the trick.

I've had an issue with my HVAC since winter. I called ICT, twice in the winter and they weren't able to fix what ever was wrong with it. First charge was in the $90 range, second visit was checking my ducts for any blockage and that was close to $200, but still no fix.
Come summer I don't have a/c, so I called ICT and they tell me I have a blockage, but ""it would take too long and be too expensive to find where the blockage is coming from. it would be better to replace the unit."" Now mind you, the unit in question is about 6 years old or there abouts, or so I've been told. I get quote options to replace the unit ranging from over $6k to close to $11k.
I called another company and they found what was wrong and it clost less than $500 to fix. I FINALLY HAVE A WORKING HVAC. No thanks to ICT.

Called two weeks ago regarding a leak they sent a guy that simply walked through my house and told me this a roof issue, this leak is a HVAC problem, and I would need to call someone that deals with that when his shirt had HVAC on it ! He told me that was a different person and he would have him come to fix it. And YES I had to pay for his walk through. When the second guy got here he assured me the problem was fixed and I had to pay again. The next morning I stepped in water from water dripping through my ceiling I called and they came quickly. Again I was assured the problem was fixed and the ceiling and insulation would just need to dry but no charge because they didn't get it fixed the first time. By that afternoon the ceiling had bowed and again water was dripping from it. He came back and told me it should be fixed this time but I would need to call a drywall person, a painter and replace the insulation!,, oh and because it was after closing hours I would have to pay overtime!!! This should have been fixed the first time and I should not have been charged. I think they should have to pay to get the damaged fixed.
