If you live in Wauwatosa or elsewhere, there is no need to engage any other plumbing service! This is a superior plumbing company. Fast, efficient, courteous, reasonable and attentive. I called on Saturday for service on Monday and received 2 return calls on Saturday! OMG! They always exceed my expectations.
Donna S.You don't understand how important hot water is until you don't have it. Our hot water heater was leaking and Vince and his team were able to order a new heater and have it installed right away. From the polite receptionist who treated my situation with the utmost importance (on a Friday afternoon), to Vince himself calling me to explain all of my options, to the technician who walked me through the process, I could not have been more pleased with the service offered by Vince Ingrilli and Sons Plumbing. I highly recommend them for honest service and will use them for any future needs.
It was Saturday night 7:00 PM my sewer drain was clogged and I have company coming the next day. Every couple of years I need to get my sewer cleaned out and when I don't it's always clogged on Saturday. I called VIP plumbing spoke with Vince and he sent a plumber with in the hour. He fixed the problem anticipated a future problem, fixed that, cleaned up after himself, was professional and polite. If you want to be treated like a customer and get it done the first time, call Vince Ingrilli plumbing.
I called Ingrilli yesterday about fixing a dishwasher leak and a clogged disposal. Vince said someone would come today -- Kurt arrived within the window of time I'd been promised and in less than an hour had fixed the dishwasher and installed a new disposal. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fast! I am a very, very satisfied customer.
Kara B.I called for help snaking a drain and chose VIP due to their high rating on Angie's List. Someone answered the phone right away and they were able to schedule time the next day. I came home from work early to be home for my 1-3 window, and didn't receive a call until 3:05 that the plumber was on his way. He arrived at 3:15 and snaked the drain in 25 minutes. So I was very surprised to see that my invoice I received was for one hour and fifteen minutes, and that when I called I was informed after the fact that I had to pay for travel time AND round up to the nearest hour of work performed. This plumber wasn't any better than any of the other plumbers I have used, and if they intend on gouging customers for simple house calls I would not recommend using them.
I have a 100-year-old house with 100-year-old plumbing. I was very happy when Tom showed up today. He was every homeowner's dream. He quickly assessed the situation and treated the problem as if he were in his own home and his time was his own. He left my bathroom cleaner than he found it. And my 100-year-old sink works wonderfully! Thanks! My only lament was that his previous job wasn't closer in proximity to my house. I didn't love having to pay for his travel time.
Joanna T.I'm remiss in not reviewing VIP earlier - things get lost in the shuffle of moving, I guess. In any case, we were selling our house and the buyer's inspection showed issues with a Palmer valve (whatever THAT is) plus a small leak in our upstairs bath.
My husband felt strongly about using someone local, mostly because old houses tend to be quirky and he wanted someone with neighborhood experience. We called VIP and were surprised (and pleased!) at how quickly we were able to get scheduled. The plumber showed up right on time, fixed both issues with just one trip to grab a part and left the worksite clean. I was really happy with the work done, and thought the price we paid was very fair. Had we worked with someone less experienced with older homes and the dreaded Palmer valves, we would absolutely have spent more money.
Our ""new"" house is just as old as our last one - hopefully we don't run into any plumbing issues, but if we do, we'll be calling VIP.
Thank you so much for the tremendous work you did in our basement on the sewer line! You were all above and beyond courteous; keeping us in the loop every step of the way and only leaving us without water or facilities for a very limited amount of time. This was a new experience for us and we are renting so it was really great to be kept so informed.
The last phase of everything was contracted out but the company you used for that part was amazing as well. Hats off to you, your business, staff, and old school great customer service! We will recommend you whenever we can.
Brian M.Fact: If you live in Tosa and was your house was built before 1950, you have a Palmer Valve.
Fact: You probably don't know what a Palmer valve is, or if your house has one.
Fact: When you go to sell your house, the home inspector will insist that you get it tested.
Fact: If your plumber can't fix it, you're screwed.
Fortunately for me, Vince Ingrilli Plumbing (VIP) was able to help me out. I wanted to find a local company who knows the houses in my areas and what it takes to keep them in one piece. I liked what I saw online about them. I sent them an email and received a call from Vince within 10 minutes. We set up an appointment that was convenient for me, and that was that. The plumber, Perry, arrived on time and ready to work. In addition to the Palmer Valve issue, I had a rusty spigot on my bath tub (circa 1925). He was able to cut out the bad tubing and splice in a new one through the ingenious use of some miscellaneous fittings. Viola, good as new.
For about $125/hr, Perry fixed in 2.5 hours what would have taken me 8 hours and countless trips to the hardware store, and possible the Emergency Room, to fix.
Quick, courteous, and clean service. I'm very happy with the results, and now I can get those pesty home buyers off my back!
The service was ok. Nothing to brag about. But I was significantly upcharged on the part that was supplied to fix my bathtub. I was also charged for the plumber's time to go buy the part from the local store. I should have only been charged for one or the other. A convenience fee for having the part on-hand for a part they didn't have on-hand, and I paid a huge hourly fee to have the plumber go get it. I called and complained, but the person I spoke to would have none of it. I should have declined to pay, but didn't feel like putting up that fight. So take your chances with this business. If they don't have the part in their repair vehicle, you'll basically be triple-charged for it. Price of the part + significant upcharge on the part + high hourly rate to go pick it up. There have to be businesses out there that won't do this.
