I saw the Indy Gas Works van at a local business and decided to call and get an estimate to fix a leak in the gas line to my fireplace. I am very glad I did. Darren had a great idea to fix the leak which didn't include tearing the wall apart near the fireplace. Not only that he charged half as much as another estimate I received. It took a few weeks to get the parts but Shawn (who is very friendly and helpful as well) called to set up the appointment for the repair. The leak was fixed, my wall remained in one piece and I can use my fireplace again. Darren is very friendly, works hard and takes great care to do the job right. I highly recommend Indy Gas Works!

When our gas fireplace needed repair we were referred to IGW. Even though we were outside the Indianapolis area and it was a busy time of year, we were able to have both of our ventless fireplaces taken care of within a week. They now look and and perform better thanwe've ever seen them. Darren was professional, personable, efficient and pleasant. I can't think of a single negative thing !

I was recommended by my brother-in-law to call Daren to get some gas line repairs done. Apparently my brother-in-law had a great experience with Daren. Left Daren numerous messages via voicemail and online. He never called me back. It has been several weeks since I contacted him, so I gave him ample time to get back to me. Maybe he is super busy, but he should at least call back prospective customers.

Indy Gas Works has definitely earned my ongoing business. Courteous, clean repairman got my gas fireplace tuned up and working in no time. The gentleman laid out a blanket, vacuumed & dusted with a paintbrush every log & the entire firebox before replacing the igniter. He then took the time to teach me how to light the pilot light going forward. Excellent service at a fair price. Give them a call.

I am in Real Estate/property management and deal with contractors on a daily basis. I have never in my professional career been treated with such a blatant act of disrespect. After 6+ weeks of not receiving the glass I was continually told was on the way, Darren left me a voicemail saying that they no longer make the glass he said he had ordered. When I called him back I asked him what happened and why it took so long for him to advise me of the situation. His response was ""Are you going to let me in the house to measure or not?"" I then asked again for an explanation, which any reasonable business owner would provide after dropping the ball like this, and he then proceeded to hang up on me. It honestly left me blown away. I work with wonderful contractors daily and would never recommend Indy Gas Works to anyone.
