Ray is a seasoned pro! I got an excellent recommendation for Ray from a friend, and decided to give him a call. It was very straight forward to book him, and when he came out he did an excellent job. He was extremely thorough and took time and care to carefully inspect the sewer line and explain his findings. As part of his measurements and inspection, he takes video footage, which he sends to you as a video later. I would definitely hire him again.

We had an emergency sewer issue. Late afternoon Contacted Ray at ISCC and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He and Jesus were very professional and were very pleasant. They immediately found the problem and removed the blockage. They mapped out my sewer line did a video of the entire line, depths location etc. I was very impressed with their work. Professional and top quality service. They get my highest recommendation and I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you Ray and Jesus-job well done!

Ray is a true professional, and I'm very pleased he came out to perform a sewer camera inspection for me. The camera inspection was thorough, and I received a detailed diagram of the surveyed area, complete with a summary report and recommendations. I was only expecting to see a basic video, but he took the time to annotate the video footage so I can easily re-visit it any time in the future without having questions. All this at a more than fair price. I'm not sure there's much else you could ask for.

They came out same day that we contacted them, did a thorough inspection of the system, clearly marked the sewer line joint locations and distances, and was able to get past a tricky joggle in the line that a previous inspection company got stuck at.

My realtor (who has used plenty of other guys in the past) was also thoroughly impressed and singing their praises.

So the city needed us to provide them with a CCTV of our new sewer line and my new contractor, B&R Creative Builders, reached out to Ray and was able to get him out the next day with an assistant and recorded everything. They were very courteous , professional and efficient. They even have a card reader with them so that you can pay via credit card!

Ray promised me that the link to the video would be emailed to me by Saturday and sure enough it was along with all the proper paperwork in the email where we could just forward over to the city. Super efficient and thorough!!

I highly would recommend Ray if you need to have your sewer line checked if you are doing a new construction, buying a house, etc!

I should have written this review a year ago, but never too late! We were buying a house in Woodland Hills and I had Ray Burns of Independent Sewer Camera Services do an inspection of the drain/sewer lines while we were in escrow. The listing agent had erroneously said the house was on city sewer, but Ray discovered it was actually on a septic tank! He also found some sewer lines under the house that were corroded and leaking. These were not discovered by the general property inspector we already had, so I know Ray was extra detailed. With Ray's recommendation, we also got a septic inspection. All this resulted in us getting an $8000 credit from the sellers, which we would have had to pay ourselves if Ray hadn't caught these things! I've known about Ray's services for years, but neglected to have him do an inspection on another property in Santa Monica when buying it (the agent assured us the owner kept the drain lines cleared every 6 months, so I decided not to spend the money on the inspection. BAD decision!) We ended up having to replace some cracked sewer pipe under concrete slab which cost us thousands out of pocket. If only I had utilized Ray's services then, I could have negotiated on that one too! The drain lines might have been cleared of tree roots, etc, as the agent said. But who knew there was an actual cracked iron pipe four feet under the slab? I could have known, if I'd hired Ray! Bottom line is, if you are buying a house, call Ray for an inspection. It will be worth the investment. And if he finds nothing, that's great! You will be happy to have peace of mind in your new home! And if you already own a home and are having sewer or tree root issues, call Ray too. He is just a very honest, reasonable, professional and detailed guy.
