Hi ,

Usually I review rare but I need this to make sure everyone decide before they choose the company for the job.
I was told by a foundation company that there was a water or sewer leak and fix it to get things straight at my home.
I contacted my agent who is very helpful and gave this company reference for the job.
Contacted the company got my leak initial test and was told to go for isolation test -195 $ charged
Next isolation test and charges -695$ found two leaks as per their report and evaluated the excavation needed at 8 feet and two leaks - advised to fix
Estimate received-4195 not itemised not sure how much for what
Work started and after a days work was told verbally there was chipping needed and 200 bucks more and after another day passed the work is completed and was told verbally the price is 5595 after completion so now it increased the price from 4195 to 5595 a total of 1400 bucks that's huge and was told no written invoice for the work done just pay and get receipt after payment and threatened to pay now or I will put lean On your house and my attorney talk to you is the answer for asking a written invoice,so rude never saw customers paying huge amounts and no written invoices before for understanding for what I am paying for and how do somebody call professional, honest company with all these
The price 1200 for was never communicated or agreed .
My experience and lesson learnt
Earlier I got another company done initial test and isolation test for free ( they said we provide free testing and estimates and was interested to know another opinion and I hope everyone does when putting good money) and provided a quote to fix the same leaks for less than the final price honest company did the job .
so I advise to check with few companies just don't just go with one especially honest and affordable calling companies , ask every thing in writing and I want to mention one more thing the extra 1200 is for more excavation as per company which is 50 % more than the feet suggested by initial inspection team report and it's so skillfull analysis for almost 900 bucks thank god

Charging in multiple chunks does not make it affordable - it's a scam

195 + 695 + 4195 + 200 + 1200 = 6485 my case final price

I am posting my experience in multiple forums just to make everyone aware when making a decision I can provide more info if anyone needs drop me a message
Good luck guys.

I had a great experience with this local plumbing company and wanted to share the info. We had the old 60's cast-iron waste lines in our pier and beam in need of replacement. (2 leaks over past 2 years and simply don't want to deal with it again, so time for the pvc upgrade). This is a pier and beam with 3 bathrooms. I called on four companies and settled on In-House Plumbing. Out of the 4 bids In-House was right in-line with 3 other bids, but had a longer 1 year warranty and were willing to do more work (other company required cutting an additional inside access hole and fixing (at my cost) any hvac ducts that needed to be moved), so in the end, they were a better solution. Shawn (owner) came out, arriving on time, and surveyed the job. He then explained the plan and later sent a video overview along with the quote. I admit it was pretty cool and very thorough. The crew started on a Wednesday morning with digging additional access areas (for better access for crew and materials) and wrapped it up Friday evening (staying late to complete the work that night). They even ran into an issue with the existing pipes being more buried than expected and they sent an additional digging crew (at no additional cost). The onsite crew, Sean (not the owner) and Tim were great to work with. They were extremely friendly, did a complete job, had a great attitude and seemed to really make the job go smoothly. (and for comparison, they were 1/3 the cost of Dried Piper. Dried Piper stated they had more experience with slab homes and felt it best to trench the yard instead of using the crawl space). The phone is: 972-494-1750 and the owner is very responsive to email (my preferred method of communication).

This is a very honest and reputable company!

I sent them photos of some water damage and crumbling of my wood floor under my piano. Chris looked at the pictures and honestly told me that it did NOT look like a plumbing issue! He recommended I contact the flooring company that installed our wood floor a couple years ago.

I bet there are other plumbing companies that would have taken advantage of me and charged me to come out and look it, and possibly complete some unnecessary work.

So, In-House Plumbing now has a future customer because of their honesty! Thanks, Chris. Thanks also to Brenda for handling my request in a extremely quick and professional manner.

After suspecting a leak we called in-house Plumbing to come and do a leak test. Rick arrived on time and conducted the test. After the test he gave me the full report and explained to me all the different options. He never once tried to sell me anything. He was extremely professional in every way. We have used In House Plumbing before and we will use them again. They're very honest and straightforward. Unfortunately not all plumbing companies are like that. That's why we will stick with In House Plumbing.

In House Plumbing recently did a partial reroute of my sewer lines. They were extremely professional, on time every day and finished in the time frame promised, well-priced, and very honest. There was a some accidental damage done to my floors during the initial investigation (before the major reroute work) and they went well above and beyond to apologize and cover the costs of fixing it. They also did a great job cleaning up and left everything in my home and yard in good shape - which is impressive given how much dirt they dug up. Highly recommend them!!

I replaced my cast iron sewer pipes this summer and I highly recommend "In-House Plumbing Company" phone number (972) 494-1750. Shawn, who I think is the owner, draws up a very detailed diagram of everything he will do. Plus, he makes a video describing the diagram and process in great detail - so you can really know what tradeoffs and options he is recommending. Very happy with the results. They put in PVC around the perimeter of the home, had to make three holes in the driveway to get under it, and then filled everything in when done. Works great.

If you like to see and hear details in order to understand all of your options and WHY one method is better than the other, you will be very happy with In-House Plumbing.

After working with a few different plumbers, In-House is our favorite company. They are skillful, on-time, clean and they'll get the job done. You'll only have to fix it once if you call this company.

As a bonus, if you call for advice, they are happy to help you figure out whether you actually need to call a plumber, and they will give you advice to address your problem if its something you can handle on your own.

My first time to use them an it was a wonderful experience.

They came out to clear a clogged sewer line and found it was broken. I had heard this was the problem from the prior owner. The diagnosis was consistent. They gave me a quote for the repairs that were very reasonable to dig under the home and replace the broken pipe.

They started the following day and completed.

And then the invoice came at the same price as the estimate. Win win.

I'll use them again.

Ps: we had a minor issue a few days following and they ran over the same day and checked it out at no cost and we resolved that issue.

Jackie and Shawn worked tirelessly until almost 8:00 PM to make sure that the water leak was fixed. They dug and dug until they found the leak and got it fixed. I don't know of many employees that would have stayed that long to service a customer. They even called later to make sure that everything was okay. I will definitely be using them again and would strongly recommend In-House Plumbing.
