I will give credit where credit is due, but be aware of what you're getting into with these folks.
The guys who came on site were great. My insurance company paid for their dryers so it's negligible to me as to whether they are over charging (I believe these drying machines must be the most profitable business going for them by far).
The caution I'll give is relative to their collection process. With reforms surrounding real estate today there are lot of different regulations requiring insurance companies to include the relative mortgage company as an endorser for most of the funds.
I communicated with them that the mortgage company wouldn't pay faster than a certain schedule (Wells Fargo is a bit of an exercise here). I asked several times to have the invoices paid for Immediate Response and Wells Fargo denied the requests, they finally said that their paperwork didn't state ""Invoice"", which it didn't. I communicated with Immediate Response very proactively that I was trying to get them paid.
In the end I talked to the owner who said I was wrong about Wells and that he deals with them every day, we get on a conference call with the owner and he was told he was WRONG by Wells Fargo and that the forms submitted weren't clear. He then tried to lean on them that he's had capital tied up in my property and that he demanded to be paid. Both Wells Fargo and I told him what needed to be done and that the revised invoices would be processed.
They then said they would put a lien on my property and that my belongings in their warehouse wouldn't be released. Everything from couches, beds, pots/pans, dishes, etc.
The owners statement that sticks out in my mind went something like this ""I don't know you, you're not family (huh?), I want to get paid"".
The people working at Immediate Response were decent people who provided a good service but the OWNERSHIP there is what one must watch. They will have you sign hundreds of documents along they way (I'm not kidding) and this is because they want to be able to have complete legal leverage over you. Considering the heavy handedness of the ownership here you must be very careful.
Lesson learned - Don't allow a water damage company to pack you out of your home, hire an independent party to avoid having your personal belongings used as collateral. Be concerned when you're asked to sign hundreds of legal documents as you engage......

I'm shocked that there aren't any reviews on this horrible company! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! My husband & I got a frantic call from my mom as she was leaving town for vacation because her hot water heater had burst & she only realized it as she was leaving for the airport & went to turn it to a vacation setting. The entire thing burst & left a giant flood in the lower level of her town home. Being a crisis situation that needed immediate attention, we went through the Yellow Pages & found this company. The first guys who came over gave me quotes for the machines & made me sign my life away on paperwork & took my mother's Persian Rug to dry, which I asked them not to do (as well as remarked on some of her expensive furnishings in her house, which made me feel very uneasy, like they were going to rob her). They also assured me that we could use another company at any time after signing all the papers & reading the fine print.
I explained to them that we weren't living there & both worked, so they swore that they would meet me there to get the machines out first thing Monday. Well, they didn't show up, made me late for work & then charged us for a total of 6 days, which ended up being thousands of dollars for the use of these drying machines. Then they had an asbestos guy come after the property manager confirmed that none of the units in the complex had ever had any asbestos, but the report came back that we did. I was suspicious because the guy from Immediate Response, high-fived the Asbestos guy when he left, like they knew each other well, which I've learned is why one should always use an independent lab instead of one recommended by the plumbing company. Then I told I.R that we were using our own plumber to install the new water heater and that they would have to be there to take down all of the plastic, etc before our plumber came, which they said was fine & that all he had to do was unplug the machines. Well, again they didn't show up on time, so the plumber had to take down the plastic, which they put up will tape that took all the paint off of my mom's walls. The owner's son finally showed up while the plumber was installing the new heater & he proceeded to rant & rave at my mother for having her plumber there. Then he got in a fight with our sweet plumber & his assistant, calling them stupid A-holes, etc. My mom was completely distraught & when she wouldn't sign off on there paperwork, the guy starting yelling and cursing at her & threatened her by saying if she didn't sign the F-ing paper work that he would leave all of the blowers in her house until she did. She called me crying & didn't know what to do. It took months to get her Persian rug back & they charged her $6000 for their stupid machines & terrible services. The bottom line is these people ARE CROOKS! They feed off of people who have an emergency on their hands & instill fear of mold, etc & have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. When people call them, it's because they've had a flood or some sort of crisis & instead of being soothing & efficient, they are difficult, rude & outrageously expensive. My mother had to call them to speak to the owner about 10 times before she ever had him return her calls & then when she explained what had happened, he was as equally rude to her. It was a very stressful, unpleasant experience to say the least. I hope this review will prevent others from having to deal with these creeps!
