Called when I needed emergency service on my well system. They said they didn't have anyone available. So what is emergency service then?

We had our pump replaced earlier this year. The breaker kept shutting off multiple times a day. The electrician pointed to the pump, Imboden kept pointing to an electric problem. We paid several $100-$200 bills only to find out the pump was in fact faulty. They did replace it under warranty but not without multiple charged visits over 7-8 months and a final $1,800 for work required to make the pump function properly. I would never recommend this company.

Our pump failed and we had no water the evening before Easter. Miguel came out to our place on Easter Sunday and our pump was replaced the following day. They have great customer service and they seem to genuinely care about their customers.

My latest experience is that when you have an emergency, they respond quickly, but anything beyond that gets poor response. I called in late July about getting a repair done, and the tech showed up the next day to assess. He went back to his manager and they called back the next day with an estimate and said they would have the work done within a week. Six weeks have passed and the work is not done. I have called four times, once I reached the guy and he apologized and said they would have it done within a week. Didn't happen. Once he called back and said somebody would be there that afternoon. Didn't happen. Twice he hasn't returned my calls at all. I really like the guy they sent out the first time but it doesn't look like they want my business.

Well pump died on a Sunday. Mike came out Monday, got water going but said pump was probably done for. He was right, it quit Tuesday. Without water, but on Wednesday guys arrived, replaced pump and tested it, water Wednesday night. I've been a professional contractor more that 35 years, and I can say with certainty from my experience with Imboden pump that they are true professionals , do excellent work, understand my needs , and are reasonably priced for the service they provide. I would recommend them .

I am shocked by the other review of Imboden Pumps. I had an emergency well issue and I called them. They had their wonderful serviceman, Mike, get out there within several hours of my call. He fixed the problem immediately. I have had nothing but responsive quality service from them. I highly recommend them and the service people both on the phone and in person are very nice.

Called starting in February 2015 about pump controller replacement (that they initially put in) for our insurance company. It took until now, the end of May to get them to finally say they aren't going to be able to do it and refer me to someone else. Horrible customer service. Never got a phone call back (only one was returned it was not on the day they said they would call)!!! Save the frustration call someone else. This is very sad since this was a very respected company in years past.

I have called and spoken to someone in the office and also called and left messages with the answering service - almost 3 weeks now and I've had no return call! If they could only call and say they are too busy - some sort of response, but just silence is not an acceptable business practice! I said I wanted to see if the well needed re-drilling and replacement, not an inexpensive job - I guess they just don't need the business! If there were a minus-star, I would leave that!
