Several individuals I've worked with requested my contact information, or considered I had thought about launching my own business. As handyman tasks popping up from acquaintances of those clients, IKnowAGuy started as a playful thought among friends until I realized to turn it into a reality.

As a child, I’ve worked doing handyman work alongside my parent at our house and for local residents as a sidekick.

At 18, I started doing work on my own from my main job in construction. In the past two decades, I moved from business work and work orders with a construction manager, to joining a union as a carpenter Journeyman. Now, 20 years later, I work in the remodeling industry in the greater Fresno region.
