We had IHP Plumbing out for a yard drain clog due to extensive tree roots. Ivan Prieto came out, who explained the possible scenarios (some of which would have been quite costly & time consuming), was very efficient and did a great job for me. His price was fair and he got the job done in a fair amount of time. I will call him again when I need any type of plumbing service. Maybe this company has several offices going under their name because the strongly negative review doesn't sound like the same plumber I had. He could have dragged the job out to make more money, but was swift and efficient. I'm very happy with the service I got.

In My 28 years of flipping houses and building condominiums I have never experienced a contractor that was as bad as IHP. Unfortunately my dealings were directly with the president of the company. So I strongly recommend you stay clear of this company unless you want to be ripped off. First problem he didn't even use a legitimate contract form. It did not have any of the required verbiage required by the state contractors board. He did not install the specific material that was specifically called out in the agreement. When he got caught he refused to switch it out unless I bought the new materials. He made mistakes then wanted me to pay for correcting it. He told me a specific 2"" inch polyethylene T cost $750. So I called the plumbing supply house and found out it only cost $25.. I personally installed a 1 inch Type L water main to the new structure and specifically told him to install the last 15' with Type L 1 inch copper. He installed 3/4 inch Type M copper then tried to cover it up. All to save at most $50. When I confronted him about it he said he had figured it out and realized he only needed to install a 3/4 inch line yet he never told me up front. I fired him and then he filed an illegal mechanics lien against my home.I could go on and on. Please no he will try and intimidate and leverage you to pay up or else. At the end of the day I took him to court and the judge made him pay me back all my money and required him to pay for removing the mechanics lien. I also filed a complaint with the state contractors board. My hope is know one else will be subjected to this kind of unprofessional behavior.
