First time writing a review; in reading many reviews on IGD Plumbing & HVAC of Spring, Tx., I have read some negative reviews that just absolutely disagree with my knowledge and my experience with this company for both my residential and commercial properties that date back to 1st qtr. 2015. I have even noted a negative review written by a customer that is not even in Texas and therein not applicable. I have also noted complaint about things where from the description there was no doubt that the technician was correct and the homeowner not. Being in real estate and construction industries for 45+ years and dealing with many warranty companies and their contractual relationships that the service providers must operate to, I can attest that what happens is not only due to the service provider but the constraints placed by the insurer. I have even had an insurer that provided the repair parts to the contractors and ignored what the existing system components were and dictated the installer to install an evaporator coil that had entirely different dimensions that required a refabricating of plenums which they would not cover. The installer and I both suffered cost implications.
IGD have installed water heaters (conventional and parallel Navien tankless with hot water circulating system), bathroom remodels, repairs of prior installations and just now a major project involving 2@ 5 ton and 2@ 4 ton complete 16 SEER HVAC systems installed in my home. Not only does each system function beyond expectations but more importantly when walking from one room to another with the 3 2story wings each and every room poses no temperature differential and all a 38% relative humidity. Each system is controlled by T9's (preferred by me over the new T10) with sensors in each room that sense when occupied and controls temperatures to the desired settings. I give these details on this system is coordinating 4 individual systems to work in concert with each other and that was no easy task. I have had issue with the original equipment for the 22 years on hot and cold rooms since we have owned this home and now complete satisfaction.
I give credit to the installation team lead technician Tristian and the rest of the crew, Zachary, Fidel, and Fernando working under the coordination of their manager Norman and the owner Ivan. I give the highest of compliments to the expertise, courtesy, concern, care and friendliness of these people.

GAS

Peter came to fix the leak under bathroom sink.He took pictures and showed me the problem. He fixed the leak and happy with his service. Recommend this company, they responded within 2 days.

I had a hot water installed by IGD in 10/2019 today I noticed a drip coming from the connection from the PC to copper connection on the water supply line. After several phone calls I got a voice mail from IGD. The don't have a opening for 5 days and it will cost a $59 service fee on something that their employee did incorrectly. IGD employee did not do their job correctly causing corrosion and a leak but I need to pay them again and wait 5 days and hope the corroded connection doesn't fail before they make it out to fix their mistake.
If you want a plumber that knows what they are doing in the area try Tony's Plumbing 832.890.8449 and they will do it right the first time and you they will be there in less than 24 hours.

This business contracts with my home repair insurance company. My insurance company assigned them the job of repairing my garbage disposal. The woman called me to set up the appointment and told me they could come on a Tuesday and the timeframe would be between 9a-1p. I explained to her I had a dr appointment and could only agree to that timeframe if it's the morning. She told me I'd be the 1st house they go to. So most people would think that means they'd be there @ 9 or 9:30am. Almost 11am and still no sign of them. I call them and no response. I reached out o my insurance company and they were able to make contact. They told me that IGD said they told me between 10-2. She also made no mention of telling me I'm the 1st house to service. I told my insurance company to cancel and give me another provider. This was at 11:30am. I get a call from IGD plumber @ 2:08pm saying he's outside my house. I told him I canceled and his company should have told him that. Bad company. No follow through and very poor communication. They honestly seem like they just tell you anything to get your business. Seems very overbooked.

Don't use them! I would give zero stars if I could. Came out for very simple leak under sink. Said he had to order parts and American home shield won't pay for Koehler parts. But that's not true. We had same repair done on same subj a year ago and AHS did pay for parts. They said "ok we will do it" which was strange cuz they just said they couldn't. Then proceeded to close the WO with warranty company, took our money and never came back to do repair. Horrible communication. They have several numbers listed most of which are disconnected or don't have voicemails set up. Very dodgy conpany. Avoid this company unless you want grey hair!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Tyler came out to repair a seal on toilet but started explaining how I needed to replace the flange. HE SAYS THE HOME WARRANTY WILL. OT PAY FOR IT THAT I needed to pay for it. Then explained water will get under the tile to the wood floor...THE FLOOR UNDER THE TILE IS CONCRETE SO THAT CONVERSATION DOES NOT APPLY. I recorded the conversation and took picture of the flange and seal before the so called repair. I knew the flange was worn and yes the Home Warranty will pay for because I called before he arrived. After he replaced the seal, the water leak each time commode flush so I called again. He came out and said the screws on base of toilet needed to be replaced. Tyler screwed them so tight he broke the screw thereby the flange. I called again today and wanted to use a repair kit which is crazy...you've broken the flange not replace but piece it back together......Tyler thought he could use all the terminology to make confident he knew what he was doing...FAR FROM IT! On top of that he walked through water to get into my home without any protective covers on his feet. I laid down towels to avoid having the carpet cleaned again. He told he did not have a flange on his truck to replace it...WHAT COMPANY DOES NOT THE SUPPLY FOR THEIR PLUM ING BUSINESS!

Had numerous issues IGD Plumbing office and contractors with their lack of knowledge and etc. items are still not fixed. And since the last incident where the contractor came to my house with zero knowledge on what he was there for and I got pissed as I have missed a lot of work due to needing to be home all the time. Well now IGD informed my home warranty that I made RACIAL SLURS to the last contractor. After letting the guy back in I barely spoke with him and I mean barely. And IN NO WAY DID I MAKE ANY RACIAL SLURS!!!!! This world has a lot of real incidents regarding racial slurs and attacks and for IGD to slanderously state that I made racial slurs is extremely horrible. How can people just throw out this statement because someone got mad?? This is so upsetting and I mean really upsetting and no one cares. Not one person. I can keep going on without hot water but I be damned if I am going to be accused of make racial comments. Shame on you IGD and it's staff (you know who you are) shame on you!!!

Had very bad experience. Would not recommend. Worked with many other service vendors. Never had this kind of bad experience. The Customer Servive Manager was awful, literally shouting on the call. Should have not engaged this service vendor at all.

IGD was my contractor through HWA claim. Plumber came out to look at 2 toilets that were constantly running. He replaced the inside mechanisms and now they are all fixed! Glad they were the ones chosen to compete and fix the issue. I will request them again if another plumbing issue occurs.
