Ideal came to my home to replace a water filter under my kitchen sink that had blown out and caused a serious flood. The filter canister had blown out, and was no longer available. The plumber was able to find a suitable replacement, but had to customize it to fit in the allotted space. He did a masterful job and I avoided having to replace the entire system, thereby saving me a larger expense. I have used Ideal Plumbing for over 50 years, and I appreciate their integrity and outstanding performance.

We've lived here for 38 yrs. & Ideal Plumbing has been a ""part of our family"" for that long. Just this morning, Eddie changed our outdoor light fixture!! He was very polite & professional. We've used all their services...plumbing, electrical...whatever. Ideal seems to be able to fix it all!!

For ~ 15 years, I used ideal plumbing for all plumbing and HVAC needs. Every year when Ideal provided maintenance on my central air conditioning system there were problems with the pipe freezing outside, no cooling, and leaking. Because ideal guarantees the work for a specific period of time, they would need to return and attempt to fix the issues which they never could resolve. However, 2 years ago I had my water heater replaced by home depot (as ideal could not replace the water heater for 2 days). The company that replaced the water heater also serviced the center air conditioner. Since that time, I have not had any problems with the HVAC. No freezing of pipes, no failure to cool, no issue what so ever. Because of the inability to determine the problem for the HVAC, the owner of ideal informed me that he would no longer service the HVAC system. Interesting that because they could not solve a problem (which another company resolved), they refuse to provide service to the customer.

This week, I contacted ideal plumbing to replace 2 bathroom faucets and 2 toilets. The female who answered the phone stated there was an issue with the computer system and placed me on hold. After a few minutes, she returned and stated, ""We are so busy that we are not providing service to the 92128 area any longer"". Imagine my surprise. I asked, ""Are you saying that you no longer want me as a customer?"". She responded, ""No, I didn't say that..only that we are no longer providing service to the 92128 area"".

A few minutes later, a friend of mine in the 92128 area contacted ideal and requested service. Her home is less than 1/2 mile from mine. However, the same representative responded, ""Yes we provide service to 92128"" and Ideal was happy to schedule her service. Of course, my friend declined the offer.

Therefore, I would not recommend ideal plumbing and heating. Not only could they not fix a simple HVAC problem, but it is my opinion that they demonstrated dishonesty to a customer. I would have more respect for the company if they had just stated, ""Because we could not fix the HVAC, we do not want to service your home"".

I had a leak in my attic that was dripping through the ceiling. I called this morning (7/30) at 8am and was given an appointment the same day. I got a call a while later that there was a cancellation and someone could come even earlier than originally scheduled, which was great.

Howard showed up and was awesome! He was able to locate the leak in the attic and fix it in no time. He then replaced our pressure regulator in the garage because it was bad and had been for a while (likely contributing to the leak). It wasn't the easiest job because of how the regulator was installed into the wall. But, he made it look easy and didn't mind me hovering and asking questions.

He was done with everything in just over an hour. The price for everything was more than fair. I am so happy to have this leak behind us so quickly and feel great about that work that was done.

I would definitely recommend Ideal for anyone in need of their services.

Very short and sweet review on a toliet install.

I called the previous day to get a toliet in my grandfathers bedroom installed. They called first thing the following morning and asked me what needed to be done, and what time youd like us to be there. Also received a call from the office when Gabriel, who worked on our toliet was on his way. When he arrived, he saw what needed to be done and got the job done within half an hour!

Fast, friendly staff. And the price was right for what the job entailed.

We'll definitely call Ideal again for any plumbing needs we have!

I've had a persistent sewer drain problem.And, yesterday I tried to clear it out with my own snake. Like a fool, the snake got stuck and I couldn't extract it. Today, I had Jose, from Ideal plumbing come out to clear the drain. First, he expertly removed my stuck snake. Then, he worked tirelessly with his equipment, and cleaned the drain. I was impressed with how many times he ran his snake through to make sure the debris and roots were dislodged. I will now always use Ideal plumbing, and ask for Jose by name.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! I am flabbergasted at how unprofessional this company treated me today. I deal with contractors all day. I scheduled a camera inspection for a buyer client of mine. I arranged for client to pay them by check the next day at the inspection and asked for them to send me an invoice so we can have check ready, they agreed. I made the necessary appointments with the sellers and listing agent. 4 hours later I get a call from the same lady I spoke to in the morning and revoked everything! She said they just decided they don't accept checks from people in real estate transactions and they don't send invoices. What a second rate operation. Do not use this company for a camera inspection of your sewer lines, it appears to me at the very least they don't know how to run a business.
