Poor customer service and prices! I got two estimates - one for electrical work and one for HVAC. While the estimators were knowledgeable and appeared to be interested, the pricing was high, and they do not return your calls. If they don't return your calls before the work, they certainly won't be there afterward. Would not recommend them - my experience was not good. I went elsewhere, got better prices and much better follow-up.

Joel from Ideal Plumbing installed my new water heater and regulator. He had to bring all the fittings up to code. Joel was prompt, courteous, knowlegable and quick. He left the place cleaner than it was when he got here. I would highly recommend and use Ideal Plumbing again. Joel was GREAT! Thank you.

If you are a contractor, do'nt bother, apparently they only work for the homeowner direct. They just lost 3 jobs that I could of referred them to, in the exclusive areas of downtown Park Row, Del Mar, and Point Loma due to their policy, which would of led to more referrals in the neighborhood. Poor business.

Ideal did some plumbing repair work for us this past weekend and the work was done in a very timely and professional manner. my original posting here...should it ever become apparent was not as positive as this due to a misunderstanding betweed Ideal's office staff and me about the cost in an overtime situation.. Don, the owner at Ideal was very easy to deal with and when I explained our situation he made certain that we were satisfied not only with the job itself but also with the terms of the deal. All is well and the job is just fine. Thanks for becoming involved in the situation and making us very comfortable with the work.

My property manager called her ""regular"" Furnace company and they said I needed to replace the furnace in my condo and it would cost around $3500. From my past very good experience with IDEAL I had them look at as a second opinion and they were able to fix it for a little over $300.

This is not my first experience with IDEAL from several years ago and I can't say enough good stuff about this company.

While the furnace is over 20 years old, when it is time to replace it I will be getting a quote from IDEAL first.

I called on Friday mid-day about a slow shower drain that would back up before a shower was complete. They were all booked up for Saturday but found a way to fit me in. Jim came out and snaked out the shower drain. The clog remained. He then went to the bath tub that abuts the shower and snaked that drain. After manipulating the snake for about 5 minutes, he was able to break through the clog of hair. Jim was very professional and even slipped cloth boots over his shoes each time he entered the house. Jim also gave me some tips on how to keep hair out of the drain including a screen and a snap-on drain cover to facilitate cleaning. He didn't have the size I needed on his truck so I went over to Ideal's location at 5161 Waring Road to purchase these. The gentleman who waited on me was very knowledgable, helpful and patient. I couldn't be more pleased with Ideal Plumbing. Thanks!

The Service was Terrible & The Driver Should Go To Driving School!!! I have had several incidents were the employees almost ran into me with their Vans!!! The owner & The Employees need some retraining!!!!! Don't Bother With Them!!!

Matt came out to my house, said the job would be easy and he would get me a quote in a few days. Two weeks later, nothing. I called to remind them to send me a quote, waited another three days and still nothing. Maybe they are good, maybe they arn't, but their customer service sucks!

Dan came out to look at the A/C at my house. Really professional, and very courteous. He explained all of the steps he was going through while examining the A/C unit. In addition to looking at the A/C he also gave me some cost saving tips on the water heater and recirculating pump. Thanks.
