Well very recently we called ideal plumbing and he responded in a few days and came by and couldn't take apart the bathroom sink and we were thinking about getting touchless faucets. Dave took a few days of pretty poor communication but did give us an answer. We said go ahead and never heard back for weeks. The sink was still dripping and I was getting tired of texting and waiting. Once I was told I'll get back to you after the weekend I decided to see if he would contact me back. In the meantime i had another plummet ready to go. I cancelled the job with ideal.

He said I understand your frustration. I have been taking care of personal issues. I have not thought of anything else.

Sorry ideal we gave you a chance to show your 5 star service.

My water heater experienced issues 5 days ago, and I called Ideal Plumbing (Dave) based on AO Smith's website for service. Dave informed me that he wouldn't be available until Monday, but I agreed that I could wait. 8am on Monday came, Dave never showed, nor did he call or pick up his phone. To me, this is the worst kind of contractor - the inconsiderate type who doesn't care that you made arrangements to be available, then he ghosts you. Don't bother with this company (or 'Dave').

Response: While I can appreciate your quick response to my Yelp review, I called the same number listed on this Yelp page, which is the same number listed on Whirlpool's licensed partner ""find a service provider"" website--(480) 855-1205, and despite my calling a couple of times and leaving a message, my call was not answered nor message returned. In reading the other reviews, I'm not the first one to make this claim. I do hope others receive a better response from you.

Ideal Plumbing says it all! Dave was the most efficient, polite, professional and so well priced. I had a water heater go out, and our property management, and home warranty plumber dropped the ball... Called Dave and he was out in less than 24 hours. Not only did he graciously replace the water heater, he fixed the connecting components as well. To top it off he helped fix a small toilet issue (not part of the original service call) while there at no cost. Dave... He saved my day, weekend and sanity! If anyone ever needs a plumber, Dave with Ideal Plumbing is the best you can get! If I ever need another plumber, Dave will be the guy I call.

I called the owner on a Sunday after my husband and I discovered a major leak. We left a message and with 15 minutes had a call back. He was at our house about an hour after that. He discovered the problem after thoroughly looking for the problem and fixed it without delay. I recommend this business!!

Dave Capko from Ideal Plumbing was nice and polite, and seemed knowledgeable when we first met. Our experience with him however, ended up being extremely frustrating and disappointing. In December 2016, as per his request, we paid Dave up front for all fixtures for three bathrooms, for two overhead gas patio heaters, and nearly all of the labor costs. Once he had our payment, he stopped answering or returning calls, and missing previously agreed upon appointments. Only when we threatened to reverse all charges did we hear from him again. The work he did manage to get done, seems good, but he always had an excuse as to why he couldn't complete our job when we actually got him to show. Now, as of today, March 28, 2017, nearly 4 months later, we have two gas patio heaters still not installed, lying in pieces all over our patio, a missing shower head, and four missing shower door handles. We have had to hire someone new to complete his work. We feel completely duped by Ideal Plumbing.
