Our mission at Idaho Backflow Testing is to ensure reliable backflow testing for residential and commercial clients. Our commitment is to uphold the safety of drinking water across Idaho by adhering to state guidelines.

Annual backflow testing for sprinkler systems is necessary to ensure the safety of your drinking water. If you have a sprinkler system linked to municipal water, it’s crucial to test the backflow preventer each year to meet regulations and avoid contamination.

The following devices should be tested: Double-check valve assemblies, Reduced-pressure principle backflow assemblies Spill-resistant vacuum breakers Pressure vacuum breaker assemblies.

My experience in HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler systems dates back to 1992. I went to Borah High School, where I found joy in hands-on work through vocational training. In 1993, I pursued further training at Boise State Vocational School. I am licensed as an electrical and HVAC contractor and also hold journeyman licenses in both fields. I am certified for backflow testing in Idaho and Utah. My training was completed at ABPA.

Hello, I’m Jim Miller, the owner of Idaho Backflow Testing. My wife and I operate this family-owned company. Our services include backflow testing, sprinkler blowouts, and repairs. We are proud Idaho natives who have lived on the Boise bench for most of our lives.
