I do not recommend I-5 for any work. We hired them to replace our roof, and the experience has been a disaster. In the end, after 8 months of chasing them down, GAF (the shingle manufacturer) is going to replace our NEW ROOF, not I-5. Why? because I-5 did such a poor job, this brand-new roof needs to be torn off, replaced and installed properly for GAF to warranty their shingles. Our story is long and not worth typing up. If I did type it up, it would include things like: getting yelled at over the phone by an I-5 person, being threatened with a lien on my house despite the work not being adequate, GAF sending out an inspector and I-5 failing to get their crap together enough to fix what they messed up. Now, another local roofing company will be fixing things up for us. If you are looking for an alternative to I-5 in the Portland area, J&J roofing has been refreshingly awesome.

It is also worth mentioning that GAF is fantastic, and I highly recommend them. Their customer service is outstanding.

The service was absolutely terrible. Our house had a major leak down the side and they were supposed to tear down some areas and fix it. After one day of working they completely ghosted us leaving us with a living room with no floors, walls, or ceiling and some other additional areas In our house. We tried calling and emailing constantly... and nothing. Several weeks later we finally got a call but the lady claimed she had no record of us, even though our house is torn up? A couple days later, we get a text claiming that they left some things at our house and they need to be picked up.. but I thought there was no record of us? Overall service was horrendous , they were extremely rude, and left our house destroyed so we aren't able to live properly in it. Do NOT do business with these people!

Insurance chasers! Took one look under my sink and told me I needed to replace both valves. Didn't even bend down for a closer look. Asked if it was an insurance claim, when I said no, a home warranty claim, they said their admin person would call me the next day to schedule. After calling them twice with no viable response, I gave up. My neighbor on the other hand, had a frozen pipe (under insurance), and they told her the entire plumbing system had to be replaced. She is awaiting approval from her insurance company... not sure the insurance adjuster will agree. Definitely insurance chasers IMO.
