When I was replacing a kitchen faucet, the handle of the shutoff valve under my sink broke off. After I replaced it with a new shutoff valve, it was still leaking. I called three companies around the OC area and decided to go with I Got Plumbing.

I am glad I did.

Abraham is a true professional. I found him to be transparent, honest (a big deal for me) and went above and beyond. He did a lot of work installing my new kitchen faucet and fixed my valve problems, and was timely in his arrival. Even though the job was more complicated then he originally envisioned, he still charged me a very reasonable price.

I would definitely call I Got Plumbing again for my future plumbing needs and will not go anywhere else.

We had a major league plumbing emergency. I went down the YELP list one by one and finally got a hold of a live person - from I Got Plumbing. They scheduled an emergency visit to my home within the hour. Daniel Gonzalez was sent to help us out. I was on a business Skype call when Daniel arrived. He was independent and quiet, and he quickly assessed then fixed the problem with care. After the call he and I chatted and Daniel showed me exactly what was wrong and how he took care of it.

Daniel was a true professional. The office staff called about an hour later to see how everything went as a follow up. I was quite impressed. Needless to say I have the company and Daniel's name on speed dial just in case I ever need them again.

Abraham personally came to my house today and quickly fixed my broken Moen cartridge. Abraham was on time and very professional. I can now understand why ""I Got Plumbing"" got such amazing reviews for so long. I feel bad that one new employee caused their good review streak to take a hit. Abraham once again apologized and said he will take the appropriate action regarding his employee. I don't expect amazing customer service, but I do expect the bare minimum. Abraham has proven to me that his company is dedicated on continuing to provide great customer service. I will definitely use ""I Got Plumbing"" in the future.

First off, I am a small business owner who uses YELP to find other small businesses to do business with. I have had really good experiences choosing restaurants and other businesses until NOW. :(

We woke up Thursday morning to a leak in the garage. I have a little knowledge of plumbing as I worked with a plumbing contractor for about 9 months. I soaked up the water at the wall and watched as it seeped from the concrete slab. I told the homeowner this: Best case scenario, it's a pin hole leak in the pipe. Worse case scenario, its a slab leak. He didn't have a plumber in mind, so I went to Yelp! Found I Got Plumbing and read about 5 or 6 reviews and told him, This is the one!! I called at 8:30am to see when someone could come out and they told me a technician would call me. At 2pm, no phone call yet, so I called them. No biggie, I wasn't going to be home until after 3pm anyways. I am told a technician will call me right away. Sure enough, he did. He said he would be at the house from 3-3:30p. I rescheduled my next job and hurried from Long Beach to Mission Viejo. I called at 3:52p to find out where he was. ""Oh....he just left here. He should be there in 20 minutes."" 4:30p he arrives. Now, I'm still ok with this, I realize OC traffic is HORRIFIC and give him the benefit of the doubt. I show him to the garage and let him know that I have some plumbing knowledge and told him the same 2 scenarios I told the homeowner. He agreed.....went on about slab leaks and how much it would cost, etc. Not something the homeowner was happy to hear AND the guy hadn't even opened up the wall to see what the issue was. Now, I come from a place of ""Let's see what the issue is, and then create a solution. Especially when you just walked into the door!! Anyways, I digress. Dan starts cutting open the wall and thankfully it's not a slab leak. :) Both the homeowner and myself are pleased. Dan opens up about a 6' section and finds the pin hole. ""YES I exclaim!"" Simple. Easy. And can be done in 10 minutes! 2 couplings, 3"" piece of 1/2"" copper and we're golden! He marks the pipe and then states he should probably check the water pressure coming into the house. This is where I should've been on HYPER ALERT. He already stated the ""leak detection"" was $105 and repairing the leak was $275! Again, 2 couplings and 3"" copper. I follow him to the hose bib to see the pressure myself. Sure enough! 110 lbs! WAYY too much! Obviously, the pressure regulator isn't working and it's the original and the house is 28 years old. It should be replaced. I agree with Dan UNTIL he gives his quote! $850 to replace the pressure regulator and install a 1"" ball valve. I about fell out and Dan says we can get some other estimates but his estimate is what others will state also. Dan says he can't get it done today, he would have to come on Monday but he will ""patch"" the pipe in the garage and do everything on Mon. At first I wasn't sure why he didn't just fix the pipe in the garage. But after he left and I called my plumbing contractor in San Diego and told him the detailed estimate. His words.....""OUTRAGEOUS!!"" I then asked how much he would charge someone (NOT ME!) to do this job in SD. About $450...... There's a HUGE difference between $1300 and $450!!!!! I realize we are in Mission Viejo......BUT REALLY??!!!

By the way, the homeowner is 83. He got a whopping $45 discount off the OUTRAGEOUS $1300 estimate. I called and cancelled the job. Told Abraham the estimate for the regulator was WAYYYYY off and he agreed and said he would talk to Dan. Dan calls back and I explain to him that his services were not needed and we know we still owe him for his time and to please send us a bill for that. He was furious, told me he was going to take us to court. I explain to him that he was the one who suggested getting other estimates and I did. He would not be the one installing the water pressure regulator. Then he tells me he is charging us for 2 hours at @225/hour! I told him that he was only here for maybe 1 1/2 hours. He then hung up on me. A few moments later we got an invoice for $345 and all he did was cut a 6' hole in the garage wall, PATCH the hole in the pipe, and check the water pressure. If THAT'S not OUTRAGEOUS people, I don't know what is. So, let's take a look:

1. He was supposed to arrive between 3-3:30 (that was AFTER I called to find out what's up)
2. I had to call at 3:52 to see where he was. Was told he'll be there in 20 min.
3. He shows up at 4:30.
4. Already talking about a slab leak and how much that runs after barely walking in the house.
5. Gives us an OUTRAGEOUS estimate to replace a water pressure regulator and 1""ball valve. (BTW, you and I can go online and buy the same regulator and ball valve for less than $150! THE SAME IDENTICAL BRAND!!)
6. Chews me out for getting another estimate.
7. Bills us $345 for cutting a hole in the wall, NOT repairing the LEAK that he was called out to do, and postponing all work until Monday.

When it comes to plumbers, 3 things that pop in your mind:

1. Are they going to show up?
Yes they did, 20 mins early to be exact, with tools in hand.

2. Are the prices going to be outrageous?
No. Actually the prices were good. We shopped around, not the highest and not the lowest but they are LICENSE plumbers, family operated for 15-18 years. Family owner operated means you are going to get the best service. Not commercial where they have to write up the bill higher and split between owners and employees like a nail salon.
3. Are they honest?
We had asked for a toilet, 2 faucets and water heater to be replaced. They did exactly what was told in 1h and 45min.
They even told me my water heater was good and just needs to be serviced. I opted to replace it anyways because I'm a paranoid person. But no up selling what so ever and even gave us tips and pointers and offered us a lower price water heater than Lowes or Home Depot (they get contractors price)

If you are looking for an HONEST, On time, and knowledgable staff of licensed plumbers, this is it. Enclosed are some pics I took.

I recently discovered what no homeowner ever wants to discover....a slab leak. My former plumber who was awesome retired so began to call multiple plumbing companies and no one answered the phone. In my panic, I turned to my favorite source, Yelp. ""I Got Plumbing"" popped up with multiple great reviews so I rolled the dice and called them. To my pleasant surprise someone actually answered the phone (it was probably around 8:30 am). The nice gentlemen on the other line was very professional and explained to me that Abraham would be calling me shortly. Within minutes, he did. And within 20 minutes his crew showed up at my front door as promised! From there they where able to identify where the slab leak was coming from and contain it. Abraham provided me with options so that I could make an informed decision. Both Abraham and his crew are professional, kind and trustworthy. They provided excellent customer service, great drywall work, and overall they did an excellent job. Abraham (the owner) followed up with me afterwards to ensure all was fine in my home, and when I happened to mention a small detail, they were back to further investigate and resolve the issue. As a Residential Real Estate Agent I am often asked for referrals, I am excited to have a great plumbing company that l can refer my clients to.
