I'm located in Pompano Beach, FL. We lived in a condo in our building with a 15-year-old AC unit until we purchased our present condo in the same building in 2017. The new condo needed gutted and the AC was over 20 years so we decided to replace it. What a mistake that has been. We've had nothing but problem after problem with this new unit. Don't let any AC company install this horrible product.

They were very helpful and the only ones who were reliable and fixed the problem ! I cannot thank them enough. I don't understand these reviews but Jim was a pleasure to work with and the company was professional. All I have to say is THANK YOU! I will def recommend them to family and friends .

Would never use this company again! The Plumber was an hour late, and charged a total of $400 to look at company's dishwasher and sink. Disappointed !

I called this company to fix my heating system the person by name JIM MUCA I think his real name GEZIM MUCA came to my house check my heating system and said the pressure valve is not working and have to change I said OK then he broke front of my eyes the Switching Relay and he changed both parts and he charged me $650 for the valve and $850.00 for the Switching Relay $ 350.00 for the label
Total $1850. 00. I paid him and he is gone The next Morning I want to check the old parts to see it is really broken because very expensive, but the old parts he took with him without asking me and he saw The time he took it out I put aside than I got suspicious since he is job and check the prices for this part I found he charged me way way up PRICE WAS ONLY $125. OO FOR EACH PARTS and on Monday Morning 12/22/2014 I called him and ask about the old pats after one hour he came to my house and bring the parts back and I showed him the prices for the parts and he got nervous and aggressive and start arguing with me than punches on my face inside my house when I start calling Police He run away with his cousin. This guy is very dangerous and can't be trusted I just for a few minutes was a way he took my old parts with him. That was the nightmare I got experience with this guy MY wife and my daughters was scared and I would not recommend this company with this guy by name of JIM MUCA to friends or family and I will recommend to stay away from this company and JIM MUCA.

would not recommend anyone do business with this company (Work-x, hydrotech, Jim Muca)
came over charged $350 to replace gas boiler's part which costs like $60 in less than an hour.
sometime after he left I noticed boiler's pressure relief valve is dripping and by the time I noticed it, it caused some damage in my storage area where boiler is.
called Jim who came over again. he changed some setting on a boiler and said ""ok it's no longer leaking"" and started to leave. Before he left, i went ahead and checked myself and it was dripping same as before. (Don't understand how someone can assume something is fixed without actually confirming it first?) Well, he started checking again and then said relief valve needs to be changed and he'll do it for $375. When I said this problem started sometime after your previous work and I need time to get money and make final decision if i want it fixed for $375, Jim literally threw a tantrum, started screaming at me that If i want to find a cheaper price go ahead and stormed out of my apartment. Very rude and unprofessional. right after he left, I checked boiler again and now it wasn't just dripping, it was leaking a lot. I called him right back, told him that he made it even worse, he responded that there is nothing he can do...so now it became an emergency because i had to pump up water manually until someone else comes. I found someone who could only come next day. and until then i had to pump out water all night every 20-30 mins b/c Jim made it even worse. another plumber who came, was very professional, did work in 20-30 mins, charged me $130 instead of $375 that Jim tried to rip me off for. checked, tested everything, explained everything. I never write reviews but having dealt with Jim Buca and work-x plumbing, maybe this review will help to reduce number of people they try to rip off.

This guy does not charge by the hour, but he did charge us $325 for less then an hour of work. We originally called him out to get an estimate for a big project, he quoted us was over double what other licensed and insured companies told us.

I would not recommend this company to a friend or family.

After a shady experience with another HVAC company, I called Work-X to see if they could come look at my A/C--they were able to come within 30-45 minutes! Jim is the one to talk to.

- Reliable/calls back when they say
- Always reachable when I called
- Prefers cash (no tax added) but credit cards and checks are accepted, receipts are given
- $95 service call fee
- no specific hourly labor fees given so total price was negotiable

Would consider using them again since they are reliable and prices are comparable to other HVAC companies.
