I've been meaning to post this for a while. I had a problem with my heater. It would blow air- but cold only which really sucks in the winter. I check the pilot light and filters but I had no idea what I was doing. I called Marcel and he took my heater apart and it was a spider! yes a dead spider that was blocking something that went to something else. He did explain it to me but I don't remember. His price was very reasonable and I felt better when he explained it was not something I could have prevented.

Marcel and Bryan did a great job with my plumbing fixes, toilet installation, and HVAC work. Updating and fixing the plumbing in an old house can be challenging, and they worked diligently to get everything fixed. Kept me updated on the arrival time, project status, and made sure everything was done right. Would recommend HVAC/R for any plumbing or HVAC needs!

When I woke up in the morning, our heater wasn't working. I called Marcel. Not only did he answer my phone call, but he was able to stop by within two hours. Marcel and Brian figured out and fixed the problem right away. We have heat again!! I highly recommend HVAC/R Solutions.

I had a major water issue. The city said that my water was running continuously for 3 day!!! It ended up being my water softener in the middle of the night.
Marcel and his guy Brian removed my old water softener, custom installed a new one with a whole house water filter, a reverse osmosis water filter under the sink and a new garbage disposal all in a day!
It was something that needed to get done and stayed until the job was done and done right! I can't say enough about these guys. The price was great too!

I am a Facilities Manager at a company on the peninsula. Marcel has worked for us repairing ice machines, walk-in refrigerators, and all types of Heating/Air Conditioning units.
My first great experience with him was several years ago. Other companies could not figure out how to fix a make-up air unit on one of my buildings. Marcel came out and had it figured out and fixed within about a half hour labor and a few parts!
Additionally, he solved all problems with a new wine cellar evaporator unit that continued to give us problems for years since installation in a past construction project/remodel-- by completely redesigning the controls and controlling circuit board.
Just recently, I had three major big-name bay area HVAC companies say that one of my building's main split system HVAC units was beyond repair and need replacement. Marcel repaired it and got it up and running for less than a quarter of the cost of the quotes to replace the system.
I can't say enough about how smart Marcel is, how ingenious his repairs/fixes are and how he's willing to come out weekends, holidays, and in the middle of the night and repair whatever at great prices! Amazing HVAC tech!

For over four years, Marcel has been my go-to handyman when anything breaks. He is competent, reliable, and fair. I have called him to fix my sprinklers, install a disposal and new faucet in the kitchen, mount safety lights, replace a garage door opener, and when my house was burglarized a couple years ago, Marcel installed new doors with dead bolts. He knows what he's doing, but more importantly, I trust him and his work.
