Unfortunately after routine contract maintenance,
System totally shut down ; it was a little after 5pm and was told""too late .""
Problem was caused by company service tech; system is 5 yrs old and installed by Hutchinson
Had to call another company, who sent a repair tech, and problem was cleared up in 15 minutes
I asked to speak with an owner today; however, was told""that is not possible.""

I am sure that you could have talked me though the repair last night. It was a simple error made by your tech, that I did not know how to clear up on my own
My compressor was not coming on in my Mitsubishi split system. Hutchinson came out, diagnosed the system and replaced a circuit board. They said it was fixed and working fine. When I turned in on it on for the first time a day or so later. The system froze up immediately. When I called they said that it was fine when they left and it must have broken just sitting there for a day or so (or they did not actually check it out?). So... they came back out and charged me for the visit since they said it was unrelated. After that they said they can fix another part for $1500 more and that might do it. No thanks! Go with a company that stands behind their service rather than nickel and dime you and take expensive guesses.

Make sure you get a second opinion after receiving an estimate from Hutchinson. They told us our air conditioner could not be repaired, and that we needed a $10,000 system. Another company came out, cleaned the unit, and said we needed a new filter, repairing it for about $400.00. Need I add that the homeowner is well into her nineties? Sad.
Pete L.I told Hutchinson that I needed my mini-split air conditioner fixed. I knew it wasn't working correctly. They charged my for a maintenance visit and did not repair it. They claimed I did not indicate that I needed a repair. They left me a proposal for $1200 + 200 to go up a ladder. The price indicated the most extreme and costly approach. They never suggested any other solutions although they claimed to. I found Comfort Consultants and they came and completed the job for $600. Their tech found two issues that Hutchinson did not, a dirty wheel inside the bedroom blower unit and a corroded sensor in the outside main unit. He even called the manufacturer hot line to confirm his work. I called Hutchinson to discuss my issues and after 4 days, I was told that Rocco the supervisor would not refund or even lower the charge. Even after I had a new furnace/air conditioner installed by them for $18,000. Bad business practice. Lost a customer for $65 to $100. They will offer to fix things for the largest amount and skip easier, less expensive solutions. Shop around!
Had a plumber come out to assess the water forming under the shower basin. He said it was a grout/sealing issue, charged me $80 and left. I sealed shower with grout with enough sealent to use it as a boat; still water. Called family-friend plumber to fix it. I then called to see if I can get refunded my $80, they said no since my family-friend plumber did not write anything up.
So I paid the $80 dispatch fee to be told the wrong solution and a misidentification of the problem.
They overcharged for a 5 minute service call where they could not even address the problem, and we had just spent many thousands for a new system with them ..
No Customer service --they just wanted a buck.
The repair person was very professional but
Lacked any power at all to do the right thing.

The technician told us our issue was caused by our unit being overcharged, he told us that it was a mistake made the last time we were serviced because too much refrigerant was in the system. I asked if we would be refunded our service and diagnostic fees since it was Hutchinson's mistake that caused us to even need service at all. He said he still had to work, made a joke about telling his boss he had covid-19 so he could get two weeks off, and then wrote up the service. I did not appreciate that joke. After he left I called to speak to management and request a refund since we only needed service due to their mistake (literally what the tech told us). The receptionist was rude enough to repeatedly say ""well no one else heard that conversation"" as if I was lying. I asked for a manager or supervisor to follow up. No one ever did. I will be calling again Monday

I am very disappointed in your response time and the quality of service. We scheduled an appoint two days ago and were told a technician would be by yesterday. He showed up at the end of the day and did not have the proper tools to exam the unit. We were moved to today's schedule but put at the back of the line again. The services reps are not particularly friendly and can assure me of nothing other than a tech will be back some time today. Very frustrating.

D who works for Hutchinson did a great job servicing our air conditioner units yesterday. With respect to social distancing, he serviced the units outside, but adjustments need to be done on the thermostats. With patience and knowledge, he walked me through the process. He was professional and extremely helpful!
