Nice, efficient, from start to finish. Called our home warranty during the evening after discovering our hot water pilot light went out and we were unable to re-light it. They told us someone from Hurst would be contacting us shortly to set up an appointment. Less than 5 minutes later, a lady called from Hurst to set up our appointment. We set it for the next day between 1:30-3. They showed up about 1:35pm. The guys took one look at it, figured out it was the thermocoupler that needed to be replaced. Took about 10 minutes to replace it, and they were on their way. Quick, on time, and I couldn't've been happier with their service. Thanks!

These guys are either amateurs or really neglectful. They failed to offer a drain pan to install under my water heater which happens to be in the hallway closet, the hallway has laminate flooring. Geez guys, really smart not to even offer protection from my home from getting damaged in the future. You guys really care about your customers home.
Also they don't follow city codes enforced by the city of Concord. They didn't bother to run permits, also not installing the drain pan is in violation of code as well. They didn't even know that not putting a drain pan underneath the water heater if its in a place prone to damage was a code. The office manager obviously doesn't know her stuff.
On top of all this they didn't want to bother coming back to my home to fix their mistake. They should come by and install the water pan, put everything back to the way it was and everyone is happy. But no, the office manager wants to charge $150 to do the whole thing over again and waste my water which they would have to drain and refill.
I asked the office manager why they didn't offer the permits and drain pan, she said she didn't think I could afford it considering i gave them a hard time when they asked to pay $450 in the first place for removing/installing the water heater under warranty from home owners insurance with First American. Yeah that's a good answer, she knows that I don't care about damaging my floor which is going to cost more down the road than a $20 drain pan they could have just brought over and included it in the initial cost.
Also other stuff
1) They arrived 2 hours late after i waited home all afternoon while i stayed home from work
2) Their installers are some high school graduate kids who don't know how to talk to their customers in a professional, friendly manner. They knocked on the door and immediately without saying a friendly hello to my wife, ""open the garage!""
3) When they brought their hose in to drain my water heater, it was all dirty. They dragged it on my floor and didn't bother to warn me at least as to what they were doing.
4) They brought in a different brand water heater than what the warranty company asked for. I think they are pick-pocketing the difference in cost over what the warranty company says they are ordering vs what they are giving.
5) The office manager answering the phone calls and responding to emails probably can't help any of this. At the end of the day I believe she is miserable from all the disappointed customers. She also said some very unprofessional things over the phone. As a employee working with a customer you are not supposed to treat the customer that way no matter what.
ALL THE COMPANY HAD TO DO WAS OFFER TO COME BY AND INSTALL A SIMPLE $20 DRAIN PAN WHICH WAS A BAD JOB ON THEIR PART FOR NOT DOING SO IN THE FIRST PLACE but they CHOOSE TO NOT offer to fix it nor offer me some kind of compromise in which we are both satisfied. Tell me this, do you really want to do business with them???????????? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Through our home warranty company, we were directed to Hurst Plumbing. The service was prompt, but the guy came out, looked at the water heater for 5 minutes and left - saying he would write up the report. Of course, he says the water heater needs to be replaced, which we think is a good idea we got that home warranty. Unfortunately, we were next informed by the business about the 'uncovered' costs which totaled $510!!! What!? They were going to charge $120 to put a water vent pipe down the floor - a pvc pipe of around 5 feet. Interesting. Other charges? $45.00 to insulate the water pipe - which was already insulated. I could go on since those aren't the total charges. At the end of the day we had to take the payout from the home warranty company (which barely covered the cost of a low-end replacement water heater - nevermind the installation and disposal). But to give these folks an extra $510 for their ""plumbing expertise"" seemed indecent. Hurst plumbing, I don't think so.

Very unprofessional manager and techs. She yelled that I was rude because they dropped the ball three different times with my garbage disposal. I was referred to them through my home warranty (Old Republic). I will never use them again!

We have used Hurst for all of our plumbing needs from garbage disposals to our new water heater that was just installed yesterday. They have been awesome! The service was top notch and Heidy really made a point of keeping us very well informed.
I highly recommend using them you will not be disappointed!

I had a leaking showing head in our bathroom: drip, drip, drip, all night long. We had a home warranty so I filed a claim to get it fixed. The drip drip SOUND was from the water leaking into the p-trap. I knew this. I was able to trace the problem to the flow valve for the shower but was unfamiliar with the brand. The ceramic cartridge for the valve was likely leaking and I though a plumber would be better to get it fixed. First plumber came, saw our fancy shower setup and said it was too complex for him. No charge. The home warranty company took another 2 weeks to find us a more qualified plumber. They had the owner of Hurst come to look at it, nice. Except all he did was tell me what I already knew about the sound coming from the p-trap and told me that the shower head dripping was just the way it was after a shower. Bu!!$h!t. The shower head dripped for over 24 hours after the last shower. Clearly the valve was leaking. He said he'd do an ""assessment"" and get back to me. He never got back to me. So I called back the home warranty co to have them come back out. This all happened so slowly that I spent all of 30 minutes on the internet to identify the maker of the valve, which had a lifetime warranty on the ceramic cartridge. They identified the model with a couple pics from my phone and sent me out a new ceramic valve cartridge for free. I installed it myself and it instantly fixed the leak. Amazing. Don't waste your time with these guys. I had told him exactly what the problem was and he refused to fix it. Meh.
These guys might be good for bigger jobs, but for something as simple as this (which should have been an easy fix and money maker for them) it was a waste of time.

Still waiting on the claim to close to write my complete review about their service. So far it is very un-professionally handled.

Hurst Plumbing was assigned to me by my home warranty company (First American). The technician who came out was zero motivated. He said, he couldn't clear my drain, because there is no access. The tubes under the sink would be all glued together. Then he was gone. It took me (not a professional!) 2 minutes to open the access.
Just had to open three rings...
Never again Hurst plumbing!

This was our first time using Hurst Plumbing Services through our home warranty. Our rental had a bathtub diverter problem. A XXX plumbling company diagnosed the problem which was an estimated 3-4 hours repair job and to be opened ceiling and completed the repair by 2 plumbers ...We were told that it is a very big repair! The Home warranty company referred us to the Hurst Plumbing. I contacted with the office manager Heidi and she was great!!! And very professional!!! Heidi and the Owner, Todd helped us to arrange the repairs on Saturday and sent two technicians, Ivan and his assistant to the property. Ivan and his assistant had shown up on very short notice very quickly and knew exactly what they were and done with the job within 10 minutes in a professional manner. Thanks Todd, Heidi and their team provide us with great quality work!!!
We look forward to using Hurst Plumbing again in the near future and we highly recommend their services!!

Add me to the list of never again. Home warranty company, First American, sent them to help me with a water heater issue. Heidi in the office was very helpful in getting someone out quickly - I wish she hadn't bothered. Their representative came as scheduled - took one look at my water heater and told me he'd have to replace the whole thing as you couldn't get parts for them anymore. And, by the way, you'll have to have a shorter heater next time as the new ones wouldn't fit in the space so they'd have to move the connections. It all smelled like bull - and it was. I looked on line and the parts were easy to come by - the local appliance store had them in stock. I bought one there and fitted it myself - a 15 minute job and the hot water is back on.
These guys are just crooks trying to do unnecessary work.
