Absolutely HORRIBLE company! Completely incompetent plumbers!! The only reason I used them was because my Fidelity home warranty hired them, I had no choice. I bought a house but didn't move in for 4 months so the stuff in my pips solidified and hardened. A simple plumbing stoppage.

Earliest they could send a plumber was 1.5 weeks out. After waiting 1.5 weeks their plumber tried to snake my pipes with no success (could only go 50ft) and said they needed to come back with a camera.

So I had to resubmit another request with my warranty company and after another 1.5 weeks the plumber came back out with a camera but told me he couldn't see anything and next step was to dig up my front yard and open up the pipes.

After ANOTHER request with my warranty company I found out my claim was denied. Turns out Hurst Plumbing filed a BS report and said I needed $17,000(!!!) in repairs to repipe my entire plumbing line. They said on their report that my pipes were broken due to clay and tree roots which is NOT TRUE. Due to their BS report my warranty was voided and claim was denied after 6 weeks of not being able to use my bathroom. No pay out and no fix. I also found out they billed my warranty for $500 to fix absolutely nothing and waste my time.

I decided to hire my own plumbing company (Letts Plumbing) who came out the very next day after 20min of snaking my pipes 100ft they were cleared! Completely fixed in 20min for just $189!! He said no clay or tree roots came out.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

They also never answer the phone. Both the plumber and lady answering the phone are completely unprofessional. Horrible company, I can't emphasize this enough.

I too had Hurst Plumbing dispatched by the home warranty company, but unlike others, my experience with Hurst was very good.
It is true that the home warranty companies limit what they cover and what they will allow the vendors to do, and they want everything done for as little cost as possible. This does make it a little tough on the vendors.
In my case, Hurst responded within an hour of placing the call with the home warranty and if I remember correctly they were out there the same day. The only breakdown came from the home warranty company following up with me- and that is not the fault of Hurst.
It was explained to me that replacing the toilet was necessary but the home warranty would not cover the toilet seat or caulking of the toilet. I spoke with someone at the office of Hurst and explained that it is my disabled brother who lives in the property and I need to keep cost down so I would replace the seat and do the caulking myself. The person I spoke with was super nice and understanding.
When Hurst went back to put in the new toilet they obviously saw the seat that I had left for that I was planning to install one the new toilet was installed. and took upon themselves to install it for me and they also did the caulking. I call that going above and beyond. I wold have no problem contacting Hurst for any plumbing needs, even is outside the home warranty company.

I would give them less than 0 if I could. like others I paid $85 to the home warranty for them to come out for 2 plug toilets and bathtub. they snaked the clean out which was not the problem. Left because toilets were 'dirty'. we cleaned the toilets and Luis came back to say that it had to be unplugged from the roof, which is not covered by home warranty. Claimed we had used paper towels in the toilet which was totally not true.
This is the second time since we have the home warranty that the plumbers advise to unplug from the roof, which is not covered.

I purchase a non return valve through Plumbing Products.ie. The item was supplied by Hurst Heating & Plumbing Moneen Road Castlebar.
The item arrived damaged - unusable - packaging was wholly inadequate.
I tried phoning the company 094 9035936 - message saying they can't answer the phone, send an email to [email protected].
I have sent 3 emails to-date and made several further attempts at phoning them all without any - any response.
For your own sake and piece of mind I recommend you do not deal with this company, because if you have any kind of problem with your purchase from them you will (in my experience) not get any response from them. Am I taking this further you bet I am!!!!

These people are the worst! They were assigned through my home warranty. Initially they were responsive, quick to call and schedule, arrived within the window of time they provided.
I had a clogged toilet/shower. But then we couldn't find a cleanout and they said that was needed. Fine. After they leave I find the cleanout and call them back and they get things lined up to come back. Then they don't show and I contact them. The receptionist says that the plumber/tech/whatever he was didn't have a snake! Could I wait for the next day. Fine. Then i get a call the next day saying they won't come unless I open the septic tank for them to look into. Even though it is obvious (to me anyways) that this has nothing to do with the septic tank. (A toilet closer to the septic has no problems.) Why don't we rule out the simpler possibility of a clogged drain? No. Hurst Plumbing refused to even try/come out. No matter how high I escalated it with the home warranty, Hurst refused to come.
I just had someone from another great plumber (H&R) come and snake things and all is good. This disgusting problem would have been resolved a week ago though if Hurst had done their job.

Horrible Service! Don't ever use them. I had a simple shower cartridge and fixture replacement job. A guy by the name of Ramon stopped by. Parked his service truck and blocked my driveway. Talked extremely loud, was very abrupt, and hardly listened to anything I told him. He was flat out rude,
huffing and puffing while working and acted like he didn't want to do the job. He had the audacity to ask me to turn on the water gauge outside because he was obviously too lazy to do it himself. He told me he had a lot of jobs to do and left my front door wide open while doing the job. He is a bad representation of HW service and the company he works for. He's an absolute liability. Upon departure he left my shower dirty and told me there was no receipt or need to sign any invoice. I hope we don't get charged extra based on this incompetent guy's service. ""Hurst is the Worst"" - and Mr. Ramon is the lead magistrate.

Very poor customer service. This is the second time I had used this company well actually our home warranty connected us with them, the second time I asked my home warranty to please give me another plumbing company and I was told they're the only one that's available right away which still took them a week to schedule me the appointment. Anyway, plumber was late again, he looked at the sink in my bathroom I was explaining to him what's going on and he just said I don't know what the problem is, I don't know where the water is coming from? Hello!!! This is why you're the plumber and I'm not! He didn't take his time to see what's going on, he just said he will send the report to the office. I called my HW and they have not sent the report, I called Hurst to follow up and it has been two days and I have not heard back from them. I really hope the HW will stop using them.

Our home warranty connected us with this company because we found mold in our bathroom and knew it was coming from a leak somewhere. The Hurst plumber came in and immediately said it was originating from our shower door. My husband asked him to check the plumbing, he said he had been doing this work for many years and didn't need to check because he knew it was the shower door. He spent 5 minutes at our house. We called in a plumbing company that came highly recommended. Shout out to Davis Plumbing! The Davis plumber went into our crawl space, had me flush the toilets, run the sinks, the bathtub and the shower while he was under there. He found three leaks! Had we accepted Hurst plumbings diagnosis of the cause of the mold, it would have continued to spread which is a serious health issue as well as a fortune to remove. The Hurst plumber was incredibly unprofessional and downright lazy. I see one reviewer stated that the home warranty limits Hurst's scope of work. I am sure that is true, but they do not limit their ability to diagnose the issue. The home warranty can determine whether or not they will cover the work once they receive the correct diagnosis. If you care about your property and protecting your family's health DO NOT hire them!

Our home warranty connected us with this company. They were not only extremely rude every time we had to interact with them, they were horribly ineffective. No one that works there was small enough to fit in our crawl space so they had us cut a hole on the wall. They still couldn't reach our leak. After a month of back and forth they wanted us to remove our shower floor. The home warranty connected us with a new plumbing co after hours on complaints on the phone. The new co fixed our leak within days and said we never should have had to open the wall. Get ready for a headache and no help if you use Hurst.

This company is not up front they take your credit card information then they send a plumber do not give you an estimate. The job should take a half hour at most to cut 2 pipes and cap it took over 2 hours and $ 70.00 in parts 2 elbows 2 caps and a 6"" pipe $287.00 final bill what a rip off do not use this company they are less than honest
