Called Hulvey because I had a leaking water heater and a leak in a sewage line in my walls. While he changed out the water heater pretty quickly he charged over $1,400 at a rate of $95/Hr. The sewage line took several weeks to fix and when I asked why he told me not to ""get snippy"" with him. When he was finally done he charged me over 150% of the $800 he said it would likely run and that is without repairing the holes in the 3 walls that he cut looking for the leak.
I will NEVER call Hulvey again.

Price Gouging on Power Blower Water Heater

We called Hulvey's and was quoted a price for a water heater. They replaced the Water Heater and called to say that I had a leak in the spigot on the front of my house. When asked where we stood on money, the repair man said we were at the point we were quoted. When the bill came, it was $600 more than we were quoted. Will never go with Hulvey's again. It cost $2,200 for a water heater and a new spigot.
