I called 2 plumbing services recommended by my usual plumber who couldn't get to me for a week. I had to leave a message at the first, but Hukill's answered the phone and scheduled me for the same day. Tom H and Don B arrived earlier than expected (after calling first) and provided excellent service. All the usual kudos apply: polite, friendly, professional, thorough, clean. My personal favorite was Tom's detailed written description of the work they did. If I ever need to recall what was done, it's all on my receipt!

Donovan was on time, courteous and professional, and wasted no time adding hot water shut off valve to my water heater and connecting my new kitchen sink. I had no problem paying for 2 hrs labor, but really choked when I was charged $149 for materials, that probably cost company no more than $30-$40. Doubt that I will use them again.

I have personally only called Hukill's once. And that was to help find a leak in my friends home. The tech was pretty young, reeked heavily of pot, searched the house trying to find a leak and could not find anything. It was clear there was a leak somewhere due to water damage but he said he couldn't find anything. I ended up paying almost $400, for being told nothing could be found. Another company located the issue and it was handled appropriately. I won't say Hukill's is a horrible company, they seem to do fine when they come out to where I work to handle things, and many people like them. I was not hugely impressed and I really don't care to have people coming in my home that smell strongly of pot. I get that pot is legal, but if you are on the job you should not be smoking it. Besides the fact that the smell of it gives me migraines, I find the use of it while working to be highly unprofessional and it reflects poorly on the company you work for.
While my one experience may not have been stellar, they seem to usually be a decent, reliable company most of the time. I wont call Hukill's for any of my plumbing needs but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. I have found reliable, pot free, plumbers closer to where I live so will use them when needed. If I lived in Medford, I'd probably try Hukill's again, and just request the tech be pot free.

Excellent service. I had a gentleman come out to replace my old garbage disposal with a new stainless steel disposal that is more efficient and won't smell the way my other one did. (Apparently the stainless steel ones don't gunk up like the cheaper ones) He was fast and efficient and even changed out all the pipes underneath so everything is brand new and no more smell. He also changed out the drain cover on the other side of my sink so it would look new as well. He was friendly and courteous and made sure to test everything thoroughly before he left. If you are looking for a good plumbing company I definitely recommend Hukills

Wow! In a panic at 4:15pm, when my water had stopped flowing anywhere in my house. I chose to call Hukill's due to their stellar reviews. They had a plumber who was just leaving for the day to head home, but headed to my house instead within 15 min. He was polite, efficient, solved the problem and was on his way in a matter of 20 min. I am super thankful and very impressed! I know who I will call for my plumbing needs from now on!

A very unprofessional company, The well service we received was horrible. The job was bid with a quote and when notified that they would be doing the job they started by installing a 15gal a minute submersible pump into a new well that was drilled in 2016. The well produces 2gal a minute therefore the pump was way to oversize for that size of well which would run the well dry with in minutes. After the job was started they stopped then came back with another bid to continue the job and was 3 times as much as the original bid. We also had the water tested in the well and we were told had high levels of iron and magnesium and all we needed was a water softener. When I had another pump company come look at finishing the job I gave them a copy of the water test report and was told that there's more things wrong with the water than high iron.
We are back to square one which the new pump company recommended another water test after flushing the well for about 4 hours to get a true accurate water test. So everything Hukill's did will have to be redone along with the right pump for that size of well. We paid them $2200.00 dollars for a job that has to be redone. I would not recommend them for any well service because I don't think the person they have doing the well service knows what he's doing very unexperienced.

Top notch! I have to admit I was ready for a messy plumber....not with Hukill's! He was informative, clean, efficient and the cost was reasonable. Highly recommend.

Don't call these guys if you're in any sort of a hurry or if you have a problem and want to talk to management.

I called on a Wednesday to get a guy out for an estimate. Unlike most companies, this is is where the waiting begins. They take your information and tell you an estimator will call you in a day or two to set up an appointment rather than scheduling something with you while you're on the phone. At about 3:00 the next day, I got the call and set up an appointment for 3:30 on Friday. Friday, I leave work early and in a rush to make my appointment, which was forgotten. I called the company at 4:15 after not being able to contact the estimator and she told me she'd call me back. Another 15 minutes later, she calls to say she can't reach him, but he'll be calling me back to reschedule. I let her know how dissatisfied I am and that waiting several more days was not ok. Miraculously, the estimator called me back 15 minutes later and said he could still be out and would be out in 15-20 minutes (over 30, but whatever). He showed up, did a quick assessment and was about to head out the door when I asked about my estimate. He let me know he'd email it to me and apologized for forgetting my appointment.

After he left, I got on the phone with my insurance company, gave them an update (much to her horror), 15 minutes later she had me on the phone with another company and within an hour, that company was at my door setting up pumps and heaters to get the 8 inches of standing water out of my crawl space and to assess what was going on. Before even going under the house, he was able to tell me that a pipe had burst and to not run the washer or dishwasher and only run the kitchen water sparingly. By Monday morning, the plumbing company was able to replace the 8 feet of busted pipe and do a quick assessment of the other pipes. Meanwhile, I still hadn't heard back from Hukill's with an estimate.

At 11:30 Monday, I still hadn't received an estimate from Hukill's, so I called Hukill's to speak with a manger about all of this, but she refused to put me through to anyone. She took my information and told me a manger would be calling me back after I vehemently expressed that I would like to talk to a manger (rather than leave a bad review). 15 minutes later, the estimator called me to confirm that I no longer needed an estimate (WHAT?!?) and a week later, I still haven't heard from a manager. Meanwhile, my house is still set up with pumps, heaters, and a dehumidifier because that's how significant of a problem I had going on that Hukill's felt they could ignore for however long. Since I do several loads of laundry and run the dishwasher multiple times on the weekends, I can only imagine how much more water and damage there would be had I waited around for Hukill's.

Needless to say, I won't be calling this company again.

I had a both a drain specialist AND a plumber from DrainPros at my house today. Great experience and very professional. Josh identified my gutter drainage problem, cleaned my driveway drain pipes and unclogged my sinks. Same day, Lance installed a new kitchen faucet, advised me on a replacement water heater, and identified a way for me to save on my utility bill with a timer. I was also able to schedule this visit within a reasonable amount of time after calling. Most other local plumbers are back-logged for weeks! I recommend these guys.
