I do not recommend Hukill's for restoration. My experience with them was disappointing and regrettable.

I don't want to write a book so I will just bullet point my main issues:
* Poor communication and I believe they were dishonest.
* Drywall, hardwood floor, paint do not look professional.
* Disrespected our house and property. Did not protect parts of the house/property unaffected by flood properly.
* Was told restoration would take 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Took 6.5 months.

If you ever have a flood I suggest you use a remediation only contractor then find a qualified contractor to put it back together. Whatever you do---do NOT use Hukill's--You can do much better. For us it was a lesson learned the hard way.

A word of advice; Regardless of who you use, assure all your communication is duplicated in an email so you have a record. If it is not in writing, it didn't happen. I also recommend you take as many pictures of your house as you can before a contractor touches anything so you have BEFORE photos in case your property gets damaged by the contractor. You need to be documenting everything as if you are putting together a case to bring to court....because you very well might be.

To owner: You already failed...there is nothing you can do at this point; I do not want you in my house again with your sloppy work

Dude who came to our place charged us close to 500$ to replace a shower handle valve. He took more time to go get the part then it did to install it...... SHADY business man and conartist. Don't let these derelicts into your place, get a second opinion if you do because the other guys WILL be cheaper

James M. came to take care of some issues that appeared after our basement flooded. He did amazing work on a very difficult project. He was prompt, hardworking and cheerful during the whole process. Again, we are extremely satisfied with the work that Hukill's has done. We are thankful that James was chosen to complete the work in our basement.

We called Hukills on a weekend with an emergey repair of a water valve that could not be turned off and a possible water leak below the house. Marcos was extremely communicative about his timeline and when he would be able to get to us. When he did arrive, he helped determine what needed to be done, acquired the right parts, and installed them quick. He was overall a great guy to work with and put us at ease in a tough situation. Plus, the bill was very reasonable- especially considering it was a Saturday. I could not recommend this company more

Hukill's was awful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They ""fixed"" a leak in our pasture a coupe months over a year ago and it's already leaking again. Upon calling them to fix it, they said they can't guarantee their work since it's been over a year and that they couldn't get anyone up here to fix it for a few days because their schedule was too full. They were not willing to work with us to guarantee or fix the issue that they improperly repaired a year ago. We called SISKIYOU PUMP SERVICE and they were great. They agreed to come out today to fix it. We've used them before and will only use them going forward. Do not use Hukill's! It will be a waste of money.

Huge shout out to Marcos for getting the water pressure up! He came out to our rental late in the evening when we were out of town and in a pinch. Excellent service and quick work. We really appreciate it!

We called Hukill's to diagnose and fix a toilet problem. Luckily it wasn't anything serious, but Marcos was quick to respond and upgrade some broken parts. Fast, friendly service is just what was needed.
We've used Hukill's before for other leaks and we'll choose them again.
