Called Hughes to order some parts for my water treatment system. It took quite a bit of explaining to get them to understand what I was talking about even though it is a common part and I had the correct detailed name of the part. I have used them in the past and this seems to be a common problem with them. Even with proper part name and description. After they figured out what I was talking about they informed me that part was not in stock. They said they would order it from the manufacturer and it would be here in about 2 days, but first they were going to send me an email with a form to fill out so that the order could be completed. This was last Thursday and it is now Saturday afternoon and I have still not heard from them nor have I gotten an email with a form. Knowing that they are unreliable I ordered the parts online from another supplier on Thursday. I got an email 10 minutes after ordering from the other supplier stating parts had already shipped and should be here Monday. Good thing I trusted my instincts or I would have been screwed. I do not recommend using Hughes unless parts are on stock and you are picking them up in person.
