Worst customer service ever!!!
I called in about a check I gave them that hasn't been cashed for over two weeks ago, and told them that I needed it to be cashed before the end of the month because of my funds, and she went of and told me that, and I quote, ""well some people actually know how to balance their money"". So of course I got pissed off for having to hear such a comment. The next day the actual technician ""Travis"" called and said that he will be picking up the invoice himself and will be dropping off my check back to me, that $100 is not worth the trouble and that I'm a f***ing winer and hung up on me. Not to mention theirs no manager, because apparently the owners are on vacation. To the owners of this company, you should really think twice who you leave in charge of your business while you're gone, your employees are giving you a bad name.
Never in my life have I ever been treated this way!

I needed the ducting cleaned on my new home. There were creatures living in the ducting, not to mention a huge amount of debris - and that's just what I could see (house vacant for 1 year). Travis was pretty punctual, the price was right, so they got to work. Bear in mind, I did not have ""just the ducts cleaned""....they were cleaned, sanitized and sparkling! It took a few hours, but wow! I then mentioned that we were considering a new A/C unit installed since the existing unit was made in 1987. Travis informed me that his company also installs A/C - Heating. He emailed me an estimate for a Goodman A/C & Coleman heater incl install. I also had three other companies come out to give an estimate too. Hughes price beat the other three estimates by at least $2000. !! Not a small amount... Needless to say...they are putting it in as I sit here typing. The only down side to this company is they are not the easiest to reach by phone, but if you leave a message, they get back to you in a reasonable amount of time. I assume it's a smaller company, but a quality one. Travis seems to know his business, and does NOT try to get you to purchase ""additional"" equipment/services. I highly recommend Hughes, and will not hesitate calling them again for their services. Next thing on our to do list is installing a gas line for our dryer, and moving the outside water faucet.

Hughes in the greatest! Our heating/air conditioning was working one day and not the next. Hughes was recommended by my neighbor, so I called. The technician Travis arrived on time and diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. He replaced the transformer and performed maintenance on the heater. Now everything works great! Very reasonable cost. Don't call anyone else for your heating, a/c or plumbing problems.

Had a great experience. We had them out to repair our central AC system after another company ""fixed"" it months ago. Turns out that other company bypassed a critical system component and the air would only blow cold temporarily - after the system had thawed from freezing!

Travis is a very knowledgable technician and took great care of our home. We're having him install a through-the-wall AC auxiliary unit next week.

Don't waste your time or money, call Hughes first.

This company is an amazing company to have service your home. In 2006, my family was having some pretty serious respiratory illness that kept getting worse as the months went by. We noticed insulation debris in our air conditioning registers. I called one company that gave me a quote to come out and clean the ducts, remove the debris and repairs if needed. They came out, and about a month later, we turned our system on and again at some point my daughter noticed it, and this time it was on her bedding in her bedroom, and then we began noting more and more of this in her room and the kitchen and great room of our home. The one company said they could come out and redo the work, but would charge us a fee for doing so. HUH!????
Thank God, a friend passed the Hughes number on to us as we were talking about this problem. We took tree emergency trips to the hospital for nebulizer treatment for my daughter, were on two inhalers, and steroids. She and I were suffering pretty badly.
However, after calling Mr. Hughes, he came to meet with us and found construction debris left in our attic, several tears in the ducts and one major rip. He was very puzzled that the first company didn't even repair what he found in just a few minutes of being up there. He didn't even bat an eyelash and said lets see if this could be your respiratory culprit, but I know he was already sure it was. He said he would make this right for us. It was not even his error or his responsibility to have to do that.
This man and his team and office staff are loyal, honest hard working, compassionate, credible and saved the life of my family, especially my daughter. They treated us like family, and forever our family is grateful to such a man
This is a business owner that we should all pray to have in our communities for a long time and if possible, forever.
He did all that he said he would, and after his service, my daughter and I healed well over the years. We no longer use any inhalers, steroids to nebulizers in the emergency room. This is a short version of what I wanted to express. Go to their homepage and under testimonies, you will find my letter there. Mr. Hughes can also give my telephone number out as a reference if it is requested. He also came back a few months later to change my faucets, and kitchen sink out after a remodel. I can vouch for his plumbing also. From sun up till sun down, this owner and his team worked hard, clean and were very pleasurable to be around. WE LOVE THEM!!!

My wife and I are very pleased with the work Hughes Air performed at our house. On July 3rd we had them clean out our duct to our dryer and replaced our washing machine hoses as routine maintenance. Today they worked on a very difficult job relating to our A/C in our attic. There were multiple problems that they corrected, the worst being the condensation draining to the runoff, outside the house, instead of the primary drain. They worked on this problem very hard today for over five hours and virtually didn't even take a break. Now our A/C is working better than ever since we moved here in January, with the condensation going out the proper, primary drain, and NO LEAKING! We had a different local A/C company come out to work on this problem last week and they made things MUCH worse, even causing a minor flood in our attic which ended up coming down to break a smoke detector, along with setting them all off, and ruining some of the drywall on the ceiling in one of our bedrooms. When I called them about it, they lied and said they didn't do anything wrong. Well, today Hughes could see the damage this company ended up causing, actually not even allowing the condensation to drain out of the attic AT ALL! I now have photos of what this company did and might sue them. I would NEVER use that company again and will warn others about them. I WILL recommend Hughes to others in my community in the future. Warren is the owner, has over 40 years of experience in this business, which actually is easy to tell. His helper, Jeff, also did a great job today and on July 3rd. In addition to that, they are very honest and quite reasonable in price. Warren's wife, Beverly, answers the phone at their business and is a very kind person. I wish MORE companies were like Hughes Plumbing Heating & Air Duct Cleaning!
