We had hired Huft to remove our old insulation our old duct. They were suppost to Replace our ducts Install new insulation. Install Iwave air cleaner. Just want to advise if you are hiring this company insure all work that was suppose to be completed. They were a little sloppy when removing all of the insulation there was old insulation and cut zip ties left over from the attic that was the first problem. Then they ran out of trash bags when they were removing the insulation. They were not full prepared the team had to wait a hour to have someone bring them out. Then after the install we noticed the air was not blowing in the rooms right. Needed adjustments. After 3 days of work. Then I asked for pictures did not receive all of them. It was a good thing. Because the team had failed to install the iwave. I even asked the team that started the job if it was done. Then they lied to me saying it was. It was a good thing that we asked on the fourth day if they could send me some pictures of the I wave. I was concerned of their work. The I wave was almost a 1,000.00. That was a major concern. If you decide to hire them ensure you get pictures of all of the items that you have paid for. I have a trust issue with this company and will not recommend them, Lying to a person is a major concern

I had my original HVAC system replaced 3 years ago by Huft. Last Thursday I had a Huft technician onsite to diagnose my AC unit. After 3 years the compressor went out in the unit. My original Coleman HVAC system never broke other than needing Freon a few times during the 33 years I had it. The new unit installed is a Rheem prestige series which I was informed by Huft is now discontinued. I'm still waiting for a new compressor which was ordered last Friday for my unit. I am experiencing buyer's remorse given this current equipment failure and lack of parts availability.

Quick response and good service. I set up two appointments, one for descaling my water heater and another to service my HVAC. The appointment for the HVAC is a little bit further out but so far I'm happy with the company.

We had huft heating and air give us a estimate for an hvac replacement and they were the best Trevor Gannon took the time to explain how the system will work and showing me our 42 yr old ductwork was coming lose and tearing We had the hvac and duct work replaced the next day the installers did an excellent job explaining the new system with no issues I highly recommend huft heating and air and will use them for all my hvac tuneups

My tenants noticed a leak in one of the bathroom sinks so I found Huft from Yelp. Unfortunately, these days all plumbers seem to charge a fee just to show up which I can understand.

These guys' fee was not totally unreasonable for $79, a few places wanted $200 just to show up. That amount usually will apply towards the repairs, which is fine if your repairs go beyond that initial cost.

In my case, the repair turned out to be quite simple and strictly labor. The technician was very upfront and honest and said there was only a locknut for the popup assembly which had come loose. He even admitted it was a very quick fix and said minimum charge is the $79 fee I mentioned above. His name is Manuel and I really appreciate his no frills assessment, there was no attempt to try and sell me something I did not need. He also tested the sink afterwards to make sure there was no more leaking.

I will bookmark these guys for any future plumbing needs, they have earned my trust and will have my business going forward. Also, their Yelp message response time was by far the quickest of all the companies I contacted for this project. Great experience all around.

Carlos D in Electrical is a superstar. I watched him deal with arrogant SMUD employees that cursed at his Install guys. The SMUD employee then refused to turn the electricity back on for the customer until later. He got in his truck and left.

Carlos went above and beyond what customers ever get to see. Him going to bat against utilities for his customer. A real value you don't see in an invoice.

His employees should also know how he stood up for them.

Carlos is also a community minded employee being a liason to the youth activities in Elk Grove and Hufts support of these activities.

They gave us a great price quotes, pulled the necessary permits, and did a fantastic job.
