HUB Plumbing is a lifesaver!!! I called in late last night as a pipe in my bathroom burst behind the wall. John and Angel came by within the hour and were more than professional. They resolved the issue with a permanent fix in no time at all which helped minimize the damage.
Pricing was more than fair and they actually made me laugh during my time of stress.
Thank you guys for all of your help and professionalism. Oh and the laughs too!
You can bet your ass I will be calling these guys anytime I have a issue!

I called HUB Plumbing and Mechanical for an honest opinion about installing cheap sinks I purchased from IKEA for a company I work for. John the owner took time out of his day to come down to my office, give an estimate, and tell me the truth about how he wouldn't install the sinks because there cheaply made and he was concerned about them falling apart on us.

I really appreciated his honesty and will definitely be using him in the future.

Hub = LIFESAVER! First, if I could rate Hub 6 stars, i would! I have never met a more courteous, professional, prompt, friendly and reliable company in my life! High end plumbing issues? Hub handled mine flawlessly and I'm sure they'll do the same for you. I don't know anything about plumbing and when I had a major issue, John and his team came through for me and put my mind at ease. His prices are so reasonable, i gladly would have even paid more, just for the peace of mind he gave me. You'd be foolish not to call Hub FIRST with your plumbing issues! Thanks again for being a lifesaver!

After hearing about the incident John called me to fix the situation. Most companies won't even care after they've taken your money. His persistence in perfect customer satisfaction is part of what makes this company great. If you're in NYC and don't mind spending a few extra for premium service, Hub is the place to call. I also forgot to mention how prompt they were in setting up an appointment.

Can't believe this is going to be my first review on yelp but here it is:

Really wanted to like these guys but they're a bit pricey.
$125 Service Charge for just looking at it.
$450 for Snaking the drain. (The machine can be bought online for about $500 from Amazon)
$70 for a tub of Bio-Clean which can be bought online for $50.

Was charged a total of $413 for delivering 4 bottles of Bio-Clean basically. Because there was no way I was paying an additional $450 for him to just snake my sewer drain.

Otherwise, the technician was pretty professional and upfront about a lot of stuff. I understand its a big company has a lot of overhead but no reason you guys can't be competitively priced. Called another plumber to come over to snake the drain for a flat rate of $180.

Let me start by saying there aren't enough stars to give Hub Plumbing and John their due!

We are tenants who moved into an apartment, where everything was unexpectedly broken and we had a shower that had mold inside the tiles that needed to be rebuilt.
We were being yanked around for months until we met John of Hub Plumbing. John was not only kind and punctual, he fixed absolutely everything and then helped us find people to rebuild our shower and make everything work and is now clean!

These first few months moving to our new apartment have been wildly stressful and John and Hub Plumbing were truly the bright light that made everything better. He knows his stuff, is ethical and is really good at his job.

I really cannot speak highly enough about Hub Plumbing. First, when you call to make an appointment, no matter who answers, the person is always courteous, which, right away is a departure from so many other plumbers we've called who seem disappointed you've discovered their number.
When they came over to assess our sinks (yes, more than one was having an issue) and valve gate, they were professional from the get go. In addition to a pleasant demeanor, they never made us feel stupid for not being as knowledgeable about plumbing as they, and they gave us an accurate estimate for the entire job.
They also, with an always pleasant demeanor, took care to do the jobs properly while respecting our home and us.
While I hate having plumbing issues, when I do, I know who to call!

Itd had been a tough morning without cold water in my shower and I wasnt sure what the deal was and my super was being SUPER unresponsive. (per usual) So I took matters in my own hands. (well, Hub Plumbing's hands)

I called up Hub Plumbing NYC, who's contact was given to me from a personal reference and they were professional and great!

Robert came over to my apartment. Was polite, nice and swiftly sorted out the problem and even wore shoe covers!

If you have a New York plumbing issue. They are the ones to call. A+

Plumbers, like mechanics, can be intimidating. They know everything you don't about your pipes (or your car) and you have to trust them completely. Thankfully, I found a plumber I know I can trust.

John is excellent. He's knowledgable, professional, considerate, and he works hard to make sure your problem is fixed and fixed right.

I found my go-to plumber, now I just need to work on finding a good mechanic....
