I was introduced to TJ through a trusted friend and neighbor, and hired TJ to install a new boiler for us. He put in a state of the art system for us back in June of '19. The results of his work, his professionalism, and his knowledge of boilers and boiler systems is far beyond any of the other folks I talked to. He knows much more than just installing boilers - he knows how to design the system in a way which will last a long time (by including the appropriate filters, maintenance points, and setting the appropriate water chemistry). He also knows the details of sizing pumps, vents, and other hardware in a very precise manner. I talked to maybe a half dozen boiler technicians before hiring TJ and his knowledge were far beyond the others. How do I know this? I studied the ""Modern Hydronic Heating: For Residential and Light Commercial Buildings"" by John Siegenthaler and more or less 'interviewed' him and others against some of the central concepts in the book. TJ passed with flying colors. On our installation, TJ was VERY patient will all of the design changes and was very easy to communicate with and work with along the way. TJ to me represents the best of both worlds - he has up to date knowledge and skills but he is a small business owner / operator and brings that 'old world' / personalized style of operating into the mix.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Moved into our house this summer and discovered the radiant system didn't work. After two months of the sellers' contractor failing to fix it, we reached out to TJ. He responded immediately, diagnosed the complex problem, and had it fixed in about a day-and-a-half. He didn't try to sell us on a new boiler like another contractor did (for $10k), he just got the system working. Call them, you won't regret it.

TJ is great. No BS, good quality work throughout, very detail oriented and in budget. He installed for us a 7 zone hydronic radiant system and a whole house water filter, plus a couple of more smaller jobs. I am very happy with the result, the interaction and TJ professionalism. I have learnt the hard way not qualities easy to find nowadays.

HTO did an excellent job of installing a multi-temperature radiant and domestic hot water system. We had installed a dual temperature radiator and radiant floor system with DHW about a dozen years ago and it never worked right. TJ proposed a new boiler, controls, thermostat and control plumbing configuration. His bid was reasonable compared to others and after checking references and reviewing options with him, we selected him and he did a a great job of installing the system. it all works great now - so much better system. We felt very comfortable with him and his expertise/skill.

Our fairly new (installed 2009) radiant heat system stopped working a month ago. We had another company come out to do an initial assessment (failed boiler pump, likely the cause of the system not being drained/restarted correctly after a leak detection 2 years ago) but wanted a second opinion. TJ came within 2 days of the initial call (would have been less than a day if our schedules had allowed it) and confirmed the diagnosis within 10 minutes (vs. 2 hours w/the other company), picked up a new pump and had it installed within the hour at a fraction of the cost estimated by the first company. He also walked me through how our system works and how to troubleshoot leaks in a more straightforward, cost effective way in the future. Radiant heat experts are hard to find and TJ is a gem and knows his systems. Couldn't recommend him more highly!

We had a major gas leak and I looked on Yelp for someone to help us fix it. TJ was the nicest and the cheapest quote we got. He came back multiple times to make sure it was fixed and he was really great. We had other leaks which we had TJ fix as well. Overall, very reliable, friendly and got the job done.

Simply put, TJ is very professional, honest, and very smart at what he does.

I got my old hydronic heating system replaced and he did a fabulous job. Many contractors did not have a clue what to do.

He was punctual, very respectful and my 4 yr old kid felt very comfortable to chat with him.

TJ is excellent. He 1st came by to look at my waterheater in a 6 unit TIC. The pilot was out so he came by lit it and didn't even charge us. He said that I should keep an eye on it and let him know if it went back out. It did, so he gave me a quote to replace it. I shopped it around and he was the friendliest and had the best price (by $500). I would recommend TJ for any plumbing problem I have.
