We have utilized Hector and his team for a number of projects in our home to include a new bathroom, drywall in our kitchen (ceilings and walls), crown molding, electrical, new interior doors and wood flooring. His prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of companies we had called and his team is very professional and does really great work. We referred him to a friend of ours who needed work done on his rental property and Hector and his team did a great job for them as well. I highly recommend them for any home project you may have.

Pros: competitive pricing and good with text messaging

Cons: just be clear what you want and manage your own expectations- meaning he will fix the hose bib but not the Sheetrock to get to it.

I plan on using Hector again, when I need to plan out a job.

I called him regarding replacing the cartridge of a faucet. He quoted me a price of $25 and arranged from him to come the following day at 10 am. On the morning I call to check if he is coming and he says 11:30. When he does not appear at 11:40 I call again and he says he cannot come. I had to make plans to shut off water so he could work and he bailed. Unprofessional and irresponsible.

I found Hector on Next Door and thought I'd give him a try as I needed several things done quickly before my house goes on the market. He responded within minutes to my email and came by to see what needed to be done. After nearly 2 full days at my house, I can tell you that I am so incredibly pleased with the top quality work that he and his co-worker, Alex, performed at my home. My house is nearly 70 years old and the ceiling in the living room was a giant mess with joint tape cracks, etc. When Alex was finished, it looked like a brand new ceiling. And plaster work is definitely an art, not easy to do. They did a number of jobs around my home and all were done beyond my expectations. Hector and Alex are truly talented and care about doing great work. Hector's prices are more than fair but, most importantly, you are getting top quality work with a friendly and hard working team of 2 very talented guys. I highly recommend Vicente Construction and will definitely be using them again when I move to my new home!
