Have used 1 other time with great service. Had leak in bathroom, plumber was here over 3 hours, said was not wax ring after 3 attempts to replace it. Told us needed new toilet, we went and purchased that day. Next day a different plumber came to install, he said it was not the toilet, it was the wax ring. He replaced it in less than an hour. We loaded toilet back in car to return. $400.00 charged @ approx. $100 an hour. The repair should have been 1 hour not 4. We called they were going to refund the original bill on $297.00 but only refunded the $100. Have called Tom a dozen times with no response, broken promises, bad customer service. I will make sure our condo assoc. is aware, so we do not call them again in future.

We had a leaking tub faucet in our condo at ponce de Leon Towers, NSB. Dan, the plumber came out to repair the leaking valve on 8/22/2022. He was unable to repair because he did not carry the replacement valve that was in our unit. He said the valve was an Eljer brand and that the company was out of business. He also said that Howell will not order parts on line that may replace them. They charged us $98 for a service call. Called another plumbing company, Lutz Plumbing. I was able to speak with a plumber over the phone and explained the problem. They said they would be out the next day, 8/23. They arrived and removed the leaking valve. The plumber replaced a washer and a bushing on the valve. No more leak. They also told me they would never charge a service call fee based on what Howell performed.

I had used Howell a few years ago for a remodel and my experience was good so I called them again for my next project, what a nightmare. Where do I begin as I have to review multiple plumbing issues. The first bathroom shower was installed wrong and when I called to ask that it be corrected I had to pay them again to do it. The second bathroom fixture (which was installed from rough in) was installed so poorly that it does not function, failed inspection and Howell will only come out to fix it if I pay them again. Their """"Quality Guarantee """" does not mean they will get it right the first time. Nor does it specify the number of times (and payments) it will take to get it done right. We had multiple leaks that caused a lot of damage to unit below us and these are just a few of the issues.

2 1/2 hours for replacing two pee traps and one included the plunger. Good work but extremely pricey and slow walked for sure. I feel abused paying $332.00.

I do not recommend Howell Plumbing. I was told by a service technician (Roy) that because he couldn't fix my faucets, I should buy new ones, but he would come back out and install them without charging me for another service call. He even wrote this on my invoice! When I called to reschedule, the owner would not stand by their word and said we would need to be charged again. I asked to speak to the technician and they said he had quit. I can see why! The owner was extremely rude. Go elsewhere, there's plenty of great plumbers in NSB!

I don't like giving negative feedback but I have got to tell you I am not pleased with the work done by Howell Plumbing and I can not recommend them if you need work done. They came recommended to me by other owners but they came up short for me. I had them install a garbage disposal and toilet the middle of February. They did not install the disposal properly. The pipe to go into the P Trap was too short and barely connected to the fitting. After a while it just vibrated loose. I called them to come out to fix it. I could not be here I was attending a meeting with the building's insurance carrier and the technician took advantage of my wife's good nature and told her it was not covered and would cost $100 (1/3 the total I was charged for both the toilet and the disposal. I tried several times to talk with them but they recognize my number and let it go to voicemail. I even tried texting them and no response. I have no other option but to post this negative feedback. It is obvious that the pipe was too short and eventually would come apart. It was not installed properly and Howell would not make good on their work.
