Nicholas E.First of they charge $140 per hour for service calls.
Second when a unit that they install breaks and is covered by warranty, they still charge you $140 per hour to the fix unit.
Yea great you don't charge me for the part but most other company's charge around $60 to $70 per hour and if part is under warranty they charge the company that made the unit for their time.
Replaced both my home HVAC systems and did a splendid job. The prices were competitive for this area, and their installers were great .... communicative and professional. My upstairs system is in the attic and difficult to access thru the ceiling in the MBR closet. Regardless, the installers did a great job and actually improved the serviceability of the new unit by installing it more to the side of the attic. Hoveln did the work when they they said they would and finished in the 3 days they told me beforehand. Workmanship is top notch and the systems have been trouble free .
Cheri S.Great service and staff. Quickly replaced my 23 y/o heating and cooling system. Competitive and reasonable rates.
Ricky H.Hoveln not paying for their $1,300.00 mistakes. They claim no responsibility nor have they offered any payment. I am on my Own and so will be you as this company puts profits before customer service. During 2010 Hovlen installed a 4 ton Geothermal system at my new rural Urbana home. They subcontracted the drilling of four 150 ft deep holes to Fry Drilling. The morning Fry Drilling showed up they proceeded to drill a hole through my newly installed 1 1/8"" waterline which runs from my well 350 ft to my home. Fry Drilling then attempted a repair using inferior techniques and improper external plastic compression fittings. They should used internal barbed connectors with external stainless hose clamps. The water line started flowing like a small stream out of the ground. I called my water well installer who repaired my water line and stated my water line had been sabotaged with the inferior materials used in the repair by Hoveln's subcontractor Fry Drilling. Picture is of Hoveln Sub Fry Drilling improper repair that failed and cost me $1300.00.
