Writing this from the aftermath of the snow-apocalypse in Houston on 18Feb2021. Ivan and his team are amazing!

After calling ~20 plumbers, I reached Ivan by chance and miracle. He stopped by nearly immediately even in this unprecedented event, without power, and diagnosed my issue quickly. Charged normal pricing even when he could've asking for extreme and most people would've paid for it. Patiently explained everything and fixed my pipe leak in a matter of minutes.

Ivan and his team are working through the night to get everyone back to normal. His team are courteous, efficient, and treated my home with the upmost respect. I am definitely calling Ivan back in a few months to do more preventive plumbing work.

New Years Day morning I discovered water leaking from the mains water valve to our house. Checking our water bill this must have been leaking a few days as our bill was huge. I rang a few plumbing companies, either no answer or expensive quotes due to the holiday. Ivan answered the phone and was my house within 45mins. He gave me an estimate and got to work straight away. Excellent workmanship, very professional and very reasonably priced - he stayed close to the original quote. He will now be our "go to" for any issues we have at our property in the future. All work is under warranty for 1 year. I highly recommend Ivan and his team.

I am giving Ivan Merino one star because:
1- not providing a receipt and ignoring my requests for a receipt.
2- not calling or texting to let me know that he was not going to make it at the agreed time.
3- for not accepting credit card but check and not mentioning this before hand.

I had to replace the toilets because the water tank cracked and the manufacturer was going to pay for the installation. I need the receipt to get reimbursed for the cost.

I contacted Ivan to replace two toilets. He responded in a timely manner and the price was competitive. I chose him to do the work because he told me he is a licensed plumber.

We agreed he would come to my house to do the work on a Thursday at 9:00 AM. He did not call or showed up at 9:00 AM. After a couple of hours, I got in touch with Ivan, who told me that he just waken up because he had an emergency work during the night. He was not coming. However, he was sending another licensed plumber. Almost 4 hours later, 12:45 PM, the replacement came in. I know that things happen but Ivan should have called or texted me to let me know he was not going to make it.

The person was very nice, respectful and did a good job. He did not have the app to take credit card payment so I had to pay with a check. He said that Ivan Merino was going to send me the receipt via email.

However, Ivan has ignored my texts requesting the receipt for almost 2 weeks. It is upsetting and a very bad business practice. I wanted to hire them to do more work but after him not providing a receipt, I cannot have more business with them. I'll try to get the receipt through the BBB or IRS to be able to get this amount reimbursed. But I do not appreciate this extra work and waste of time.

I would not recommend him due to poor business ethics.

Fast and friendly service. Ivan was very attentive to our situation and explain everything very well. They even came out on the weekend to complete the job. Most of all reasonably priced! Definitely recommend then.

Ivan was wonderful! He did an amazing job of changing out a bathroom faucet for me. Even though it was a relatively small job he treated it like it was a huge project. He was kind, respectful and so professional. He gave me a reasonable estimate and completed the job quickly and efficiently. He arrived on time, explained everything and even cleaned up after himself! I would highly recommend him! And I am definitely going to use him again for a couple of other things that need replaced.

Ivan was very prompt and professional. He came to my house for the diagnostic test on the same day when two of my water heaters suddenly stopped working simultaneously. In the following day he brought his labor to get my water heaters replaced and installed in a very efficient and professional manner. He is polite and patient to explain to me about the water heaters and installation details. His team cleaned up the work areas after the completion of the job. The price offered was competitive with other estimates I received. Highly recommended.

When I encountered a problem with my plumbing, late at night, I found Ivan in yelp and gave him a call. I expected to leave a message and have someone return my call the next day. To my surprise, Ivan returned my call in less than an hour and offered to come check it out that same night. I felt it was not an emergency and so I waited for the next day. When I met Ivan the next day, he was very polite and knowledgeable. He showed and explained to me the problem I had in detail. I was very happy with his service and will highly recommend him.

Provided a clear estimate which was competitive with other estimates I received but his techniques were more up to date and innovative. The finishing work was more stylish. He showed up on schedule and got the work done on time and on the budget. Highly recommended.
