We had two homes inspected by HouseMasters guys thus far, one-a deal which fell through at the end of 6 months- was done by Bob H. He was incredibly thorough and detailed in helping us find everything and even followed up to remind me to have a separate inspector check something out that bothered him about the septic.

Most recently, we have had Karl do our inspection. Now, we were comfortable with Bob and a little worried, but Karl exceeded expectations again. He put extra time into certain areas of the basement when he found a sump pump and made sure to note of water had ever entered the home. He was great for assessing the roof and even found a ""hidden"" rig job holding up the deck and causing a VERY unsafe condition. Because of his inspection we were able to negotiate for a price drop of 3k for our future repairs. I'll be sure to follow up if anything was missed but I highly doubt I'll have to.

Overall price was about 1170 for inspection, septic dye test, and radon.

I called Joe to schedule an inspection with very short notice in June 2015. The seller had just accepted my offer and I was scheduled to leave town for a business trip in 3 days.

Inspection was very thorough, it took about 2 hours if my memory serves me right. I had a family friend with me, very experienced in construction, plumbing and electrical work, who fact checked everything and said Joe knows his stuff.

My house is definitely a fixer-upper but thanks to Joe I was able to go into it fully aware of what I was getting into. I'm now 6 months into ownership and chiseling away at projects every weekend.

The cost was $600 for the base inspection, $150 for radon and $150 for a water quality report.

HouseInspectors of Greenwich Pulled the electrical panel door off the wall and the panel is now slightly away from the wall and the paint line shows and wedged the screw back in crooked, the heater filter was bent and on the floor under the unit, it was not put back in properly and the dishwasher was moved and leaking as it was pulled away from the hardware. The inspection was excessive for the Real Estate Agent so that the price of the home could be negotiated lower. I would not let this company back in my home.
