From pre-sales questions to post installation correspondence, Mat was professional, thorough, knowledgeable and helpful with my purchase. I was so grateful to be able to have the mini-split units installed almost immediately! What a blessing they are to my life - and they're so quiet. His installers were fast, courteous and helpful. They explained everything well and demonstrated how to clean the filters. They even repaired the circuit panel that another electrician left hanging. I'm more than happy with this company and hope that they'll be able to make more upgrades to my house soon.

As a customer for 20+ years, I felt like I could rely on Steve and his crew. I had a bathroom drain issue and called early one morning. Miguel said Steve would be there in the afternoon; NO show NO call! I called Steve on his cell and he said he'd be there in the morning; again NO show NO call! I called on Thurs morning and Matt informed me that 'we don't do drain issues'! If that's so, then why didn't Miguel or Steve tell me that during my first call? I was without a functioning bathroom for 2 1/2 days, with company no less! Called another company and the drain issue was resolved by early afternoon! Customer service and honesty seems to have disappeared from what was once a great company. Search around, folks, find another plumber/electrician don't use these guys.

I worked with HWS on completely replacing my previous heating system. My baseboard heaters and old boiler were removed and replaced with a ductless system with heating/AC. Everything is working great, and I'm glad to have made the update. I was also very impressed with HWS/Matt, everything was professional and very communicative. We've had them out here for a number of repairs since moving into a new (very old) home and they've been reliable and affordable.

At first we tried the biggest company in the area but they were a scam. They insisted on giving us SIX different quotes for one simple repair which was weird, then they charged us $500 and didn't even get our furnace working. Matt at Hot Water Solution came out ASAP, got our furnace working in 5 minutes and didn't even charge us for the visit, then came back within a week to do the rest of the work and it was still less than $500 total.

Just had an Air Source Heat Pump Water Heater installed as part of my goal of getting off fossil fuels. Matt and his crew are terrific! Arrived on time and worked efficiently to get the job done. They were professional in all aspects of the job. No trace of mess left behind and they walked me through everything I need to know about my new unit. I was able to take advantage of the rebates being offered by Central Hudson making this a great deal. Matt is knowledgeable about current rebates from Central Hudson and NYSERDA. Highly recommended.

This company has taken care of all of our plumbing and electrical needs for many years and in a wide range of circumstances. I'm writing today because of the rapid response that I received from Matt on a job completed today. I called him 2 days ago. The job is completed and inspected. The same thing happed in July. The two men he sent on the job were thorough, respectful, and worked in intense heat. They didn't complain about the heat either. One other thing: a year or so ago, my oil company sold us a ductless AC/heating unit. It works great. What I didn't realize at the time was that I didn't think to approach HWS for a quote. Mistake on my part. Matt's deal was a good one. Finally, when you have tradesmen and women working in and around your home, it's much nicer to have good people doing the job right.
