We had a new gas tankless hot water heater installed in our new home by a different plumbing company approximately eight months ago. A few weeks ago, our carbon monoxide detectors went off in our home in the middle of the night, I was home alone due to my husband working out of town so I called 911 and the fire department came out. They traced the carbon monoxide leak coming from the hot water heater. After the original plumber told us it would be over a week before he would be able to come out to our home to assess this potentially fatal issue, I contacted Hot Water Solutions. Darren called me back the very same day and the very next day Justin was at our home assessing the problem. Turns out, the original plumber never glued the exhaust or intake lines going in or out of our hot water heater, not to mention the exhaust and intake vents on the outside of the house not only were too short, but we're not installed far enough away from each other to prevent the intake from pulling the exhaust back into the system. As a result we've been having small amounts of carbon monoxide leaking into our home for almost a year. Fortunately, the hot water heater was in the garage so the carbon monoxide was primarily in the garage with small outs detected where the garage door leads into the house but, our grand children's bedrooms are right next to the garage so this could have been catastrophic. I have the upmost respect for Darren and Justin for their responsiveness, professionalism and expertise! We highly recommend Hot Water Solutions!

My hot water heater started leaking on Saturday night, so I contacted another provider at 11:00pm. Then I contacted Hot Solutions at 11:32am Sunday morning via their website, and received a callback at 1:30pm from Darren, who said he could have a tech out today. Justin arrived several hours later, and worked diligently into the early evening installing a new hot water heater with expansion tank, isolation ball valve, pan under water heater and miscellaneous pipes and fittings. Justin was skillful, courteous and showed great patience answering my many questions, and he identified and provided a quote for my damaged sump pump. Justin cleaned up afterwards, and left the work site better than it was when he arrived. I never heard back from the other provider, and I don't take reviews lightly, so giving 5 stars to Hot Water Solutions doesn't adequately express how exceptional this company is, I wish I could give them a 10. I will be contacting these guys in the near future to replace my sump pump, and I highly recommend them for your hot water tank and plumbing needs. Thank you Darren and Justin, you saved the day, and my wife and I are very grateful.

Didn't show up TWICE!! I chalked the first time up to a misunderstanding when he called. He asked if he could come the next day but I had already moved my clients to the next day to keep the day light for him so I could be available for him when he was able to come by didn't show. He asked about Friday and I told him that would be a good day because that day was still relatively light. He said he would come by sometime after noon. I never heard from him again. Worst part is I canceled somebody else to leave the day open for his visit ( the reason that day was light was because I already had someone else scheduled and silly me cancelled them!!)

Our water heater was getting old and tired, so we called Hot Water Solutions for a tankless quote, just to explore the idea of moving to tankless. We'd been burned by so many contractors of late, I was, honestly, a little anxious about the whole thing. But they responded quickly, set up a time soon to come out, came out promptly and did an inspection and gave us a quote. A week later, they were out to install and had it all done in a day start to finish. There were no surprise charges. There were no gotchas. They did a phenomenal job, quickly and painlessly, and we're absolutely thrilled by the whole thing. Absolutely top notch company without a doubt.

Woke up one morning to find our old water heater leaking. After getting no reply from another company, I called Hot Water Solutions. Even though it was midday, they said they could have a technician at our place by 2 or 3 that afternoon. A bit later he called with a few key questions about our existing unit. Soon he showed up with a replacement unit in tow. Installation was very neat and and completed in a timely manner. He even fashioned a little support for the new pressure release tank.

When my water heater died, I decided to go with Hot Water Solutions because water heaters are their specialty. I don't get a new water heater but every 10 to 12 years, so I wanted a quality installation by an expert who will stand by their work in case something goes wrong. I'm happy with everything about this experience. The technician arrived right on time, after a quick evaluation, he began work on removing the old water heater and putting in the new one along with modern fittings, expansion valve, and exhaust duct. He was so efficient that he made very little noise, and despite being a tight space, he didn't damage anything. Professional all the way. I did shop around for a few months, and I am sure I have gotten a very high-value service at a more than fair price. Even though they have a solid eight-year warranty, I'm sure I'll only be calling them when it is time to get another new water heater.

I awoke to a broken water heater and a flooded basement. (Not something I handle every day.) After completing the initial cleanup, I began phase 2, getting a new water heater installed. I found """"Hot Water Solutions"""" through """"Home Advisors"""" and I'm so glad I did. Darrin called me as soon as the job was posted he patiently walked me through the specifics of my problem then, gave me a solid quote over the phone! He arrived a few minutes before promised. (I appreciate that because I sort of live by the idea that if you're on time you're already late. :o)) Darrin worked quickly and efficiently. The installation was a little difficult due to the tight quarters. He patiently assessed the situation and carefully de-constructed the piping (gas and water), removed the existing, installed the new, and re-installed the piping. The work was done with quality and he even took time to teach me about water heaters so, hopefully, this won't happen again! Thanks Darrin!!

Darren at Hot Water Solutions has replaced two water heaters for me in the past month. The first time was due to the old hot water heater in a rental property gushing water late Friday evening. I was lucky enough to find his information when searching for an emergency plumber. He answered the phone initially after 5 pm on a Friday and was at the house by 9:30 am Saturday morning. He replaced the whole system by noon. Our tenants were overjoyed to have hot water again so quickly, and we were very impressed by his communication, reasonable quote during the emergency, and high quality of service. Based on that great experience, we decided to have him replace the aging system in our personal residence two weeks later. Darren and his team was again communicative, fair, and committed to making sure we were happy with their work before he left. Today I arrived home to a personalized post-card thanking us for being customers. This is absolutely a gem of a business run by a fantastic team. I cannot recommend Hot Water Solutions highly enough. I am so happy to have found them!
