This plumber company was assigned through AHS to give a 2nd opinion of a leaking shower faucet. Given a bad experience with a previous plumber company, I checked out this company and made it clear to them that I was ready to hire them to fix the leaking shower and etc.

Ramon came, shut off the house water supply, inspected the leaking faucet, got on the phone with Robert and I was told to wait for what AHS will say on the next step.

I then asked Ramon to check on a different shower-tub faucet - there is no leak but I was thinking to upgrade the shower trim. Ramon broken the handle (Pic. 1), left the house without turning on the water supply.

I turned on the house water supply, went back to the house and realized that the shower-tub faucet is leaking badly (Pic. 2). I was trying to shut it off first but without any success, I caught the about-to-leave Ramon, he left me with a metal knob (Pic. 1) (that still cannot stop the leak) and took off but didn't fix the leak.

I called Robert, he called Ramon to come back to my house which I appreciated and messaged specifically to thank him. Ramom used a plier to stop the leak and took off again (Pic. 3).

I messaged Robert and his company respectively on providing quotes to fix the leaking shower and the shower-tub Ramon broke the handle of but never heard a word back since (2 weeks ago).

So not only they refused to fix the problem they were called on but also did nothing to fix damage caused by them!

I found all these quite shocking and totally unacceptable, but it appears that this company thinks the way my case was handled is completely OK. Very disappointed.

We used their services through our home warranty company. The technician Ramon arrived well on time. He was courteous, very professional and did a good job of changing the old leaky faucet and installing new ones. While doing this job he discovered an other leak under the sink and fixed that too. I really appreciate that. I would give 5 stars for a job well done.

Robert and Ramon did a great job fixing our plumbing issue. They went over everything in detail and provided us with options to fix the issue. Even though there were complications along the way when they started opening things up, they took care of it also. Overall very professional and friendly.

Assigned by the AHS to fix a leaking toilet.
Summary: if you want to work with a company who will dismiss the issues, cut your ceiling open, wait a week to submit the diagnosis (after multiple reminder calls) and close the AHS Dispatch stating that ""they do not have a person SMALL ENOUGH to work on the standard toilet flange replacement"" and no communication - then work with Hot Water Plumbing Hero.
ZERO professionalism!

Robert and his team delivered excellent work. They helped expediting the work so the water heater can be installed quickly. Dealing with American Home Shield was not easy but Robert managed smoothly with min. stress. Appreciate it.

Hot water plumbing here is our go to plumbers for a few years now and they are courteous and really listens.
They have helped us numerous times with big and small issues and I like how they communicate and explain the scope of the work in detail. We have multiple properties and we always call these folks as I know they will provide a professional opinion on what is the correct fix and also provide a cheaper option with the disclaimer that it's may be a temporary solution.

Good response time. Not the disaster iI thought it would be. Hot water heater stopped heating. Quickly diagnosed and working. Plus a leaking faucet replaced. Would definitely recommend Ramon!

I was assigned this plumber through AHS. Robert is the owner who was assisting us, at start he was good and timely.
But after 2 visits when he was not able solve my leaking toilet he reported back to AHS saying that there is no mechanical failure with my toilet and that i was pushing for a new toilet which is totally a lie, in fact he suggested me to install a new toilet. He also mentioned that AHS will just replace it with a cheap $100 toilet so i should get one by myself a good one instead.
This is totally unprofessional that he lied about me pushing him to install a new toilet. As I just wanted to get my leaking toilet fixed about which i dont care whether he replace any sub part or replace a whole toilet.

American Home Shield (AHS) assigned these folks to fix leaking faucets in our bathrooms. They came once, inspected all the leaking faucets, told us that they will order the parts and come back the following week. The following week, the technician returned with the part for just one faucet. The technician didn't have the right tools; he only had a couple of wrenches and the rusted faucets refused to come out. He then said, he will come back with the right tool, but didn't return until after I had called him repeatedly. He had removed the caps of all faucets and left them in that state and we were worried he would not return that day! Finally, he showed up but said that the he couldn't get the right tool, so he would return another day.

AHS called us and told that they are scheduled to come the following Saturday (Mar 16) between 2-4 PM, but nobody showed up that day. Phones were not answered. AHS scheduled them again for Mar 26th. When I called them that morning to check when they would arrive, I was told that they still don't have the tool and the job requires 2 people and they can't find 2 technicians that day! This was the straw that broke the camel's back. How can a professional plumbing company not have the right tool to remove faucets? Isn't rusting a common problem with faucets? I called AHS again and they assigned another plumbing company for this job. That's how bad their service was.

They may be good if you hire them directly and I don't know if their unprofessionalism and incompetence is because they were assigned by AHS, but this quality of service is unacceptable. I have attached the picture of the rusted faucet so any professional plumber can comment if they are ""impossible to remove, man!""
