We had a tank water heater leakage over the weekend. They promptly responded over the phone and even before the arrived they guided us on what needs to happen and how to switch the water heater off and get the request started. This way we didn't need to be without any water over the weekend. Really appreciate the services and the value delivered. Looking forward to getting the tankless water heater replacement asap.

Thank you.

I called Hot water through my home warranty company, AHS. Robert came the same day the service was requested. He was very professional, and honest with the diagnosis. He quickly resolved the issue. He was very reasonable in pricing.

Assigned by AHS to perform a job but refused to work on the job. Wouldn't recommend.

Two different plumbers tried fixing our bathroom sink leak and never fixed it. They told us the ""faucet was cracked, the pipe was cracked-- parts needed to be ordered..."" All wrong. Robert came and fixed the sink in less than 15 minutes. Really impressed with the speed, accuracy and professionalism of Hot Water Plumbing Hero!

Who would've thought a butt dial would've turned into finding my forever plumber!

A close friend of mine accidentally butt dialed me and we just giggled about it. But since we're on the phone he asked if I needed anything? - Yeah, do you have a plumber by any chance, my water heater went out? He said - Hot Hero, they just did our water heater. He gave me his contact info.

I text messaged Hot Water Plumbing Hero about having my water heater repaired. I had already ordered the parts from Rheem (that's another story!) After double delays on parts and over a week of waiting.. Hero and I kept in contact. They are very responsive!

The day the part arrived. I messaged Hero and they came within 45 minutes! Hero installed my parts, and I was reunited with hot water again. Hallelujah!!

I'm telling you, as a homeowner.. I've had so many plumbing issues with no consistent reliable, affordable plumber. But I'm grateful, I have one now. Thank you Hot Water Plumbing Hero!

Our kitchen sink was clogged for a week, we went through Ahs to another plumber whose service was horrible.

We then came to this hot water plumbing service. He was very responsive and got this fixed within 2 days.

Ryan came here a few weeks ago and replaced a kitchen faucet for us. He was so nice and personable, and did a great job! No problems at all with the faucet or the pipes beneath. We will call him again when our next plumbing problem presents itself.

Excellent, excellent, excellent, Michael from Hot Water Hero Plumbing came (via American Home Shield) to our home in Sunnyvale and did the job, quickly, easily and no muss no fuss he was in and out in no time. (Yep, he actually left no mess!)
We are normally used to going through at least 2+ vendors from American Home Shield Insurance before someone comes and fixes the issue. This is the FIRST time in 30 years of having AHS that we actually got he issue fixed first time around. Michael was friendly and knew his stuff. Very much appreciated Hot Water Hero...if in the future we have the need we will specifically ask for you! You ARE a hero! :)

This company was sent out by my home warranty company, AHS, to help with a water leak and had no clue how to help with the leak. Read this whole review if you come here on your own or AHS tries to send this vendor to your home and consider reading about your rights on the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs website about actions you can take to protect yourself.

Before the technician made it to the bathroom with the leak they were already complaining about the pex pipe that was installed in the house I had bought and had already stated the problem was most likely with a connection in the walls with this pipe.

After getting to the shower with the leak, he did not check the cartridge or faucet or isolate the supply water at the valve, he stated the problem was behind the wall and he needed to cut through the wall. He said he was going to his truck to call AHS and instead of calling them he pulled away without telling me what what was going on.

After he left I watched a video on YouTube that showed me how to turn off the water supply at my shower valve and guess what? The pipes didn't continue to leak in my wall! Which means that the problem was not in the pex pipes like the technician assumed and was in either the shower valve, o-rings, or cartridge! If only the technician could have been bothered to even take off the aesthetic plate for the shower valve he may have been able to actually diagnose the problem.

The technician several hours later did call AHS and told them the root cause of the problem was that all the piping in my house needed to be changed from pex to copper. The technician lied to AHS in an attempt to secure a larger contract and payout from AHS. The reality is that the repair may be as simple as an o-ring or a part covered by warranty from the shower valve manufacturer which could be a few cents for the o-rings or maybe some more if it's the cartridge and not replacing every pipe in the home.

This company may be good at coming to your house to use a plunger or even snake a drain, but you should not call them if you want an honest diagnosis of your problem or someone who cares to fix the actual problem rather than tell you that you need a much pricier and more evasive repair.

If you have AHS and they tell you they want to send this company out, you should decline and ask for a different vendor that will care about diagnosing the actual problem rather than claiming the fix is a much much much more expensive fix.

We had a persistent issue with our tankless water heater. We contacted AHS our warranty company and very quickly Robert came to see how he could help. Ours was an intermittent problem which, I'm sure, really made it hard to diagnose. Robert diligently worked with Navien (the manufacturer of the water heater) to troubleshoot. After a couple attempts, it was determined that the whole heat exchange unit needed to be replaced. Again, Robert worked with Navien to obtain the unit and to replace it. That fixed the issue and we again have continuous hot water. Thanks Robert!!!
