This was an absolutely terrible experience for us we had Tyler, the technician come out to look at our furnace. Tyler stated the circuit board had a short and we would need to order a new one to have it work consistently. He stated our blower on the furnace had about 40% of its life left and we could replace that at the same time or after if we wanted to save money. We chose to spend the 324$ for the circuit board. When he replaced it, th furnace still didn't work. They stated we are out of luck unless we want to replace the blower but they just recommend us buying a new furnace, which they don't do. They refused to talk to us about the 324$ mistake they made. Tina in the office has repeatedly hung up on me while on the phone. I hope to speak with a manager to solve this problem.

Not a great first impression. The receptionist was annoyed with our call and said they don't do bids this time a year. When we asked how then would we go about getting a price on a job from them, she placed us on hold for 5 minutes. Upon her return she still wasn't clear about how much it would cost ... and this was only to give us a quote for the desired work. Looks like they don't want or need our business.

Good and timely service. always a job well done. wish they were less expensive, but they don't seem to be much more than anyone else and far more dependable than the other local company we used.

They are very quick about getting a repairman out to do the work. And it seems to be quality work, although the toilet I paid them to repair 2 years ago now needs another repair.

My main complaint is with pricing - I had them in to install a dishwasher, and they charged me $175 per hour. This was not a weekend or emergency rate - it was just their regular hourly rate.

Hot Rod & Yox is my plumber of choice. I have worked with them for close to 10 years now. They do fantastic work, and are always fair. Tina runs a tight ship and will get you one of the guys as soon as possible. I have worked with all three of the guys (Ken, Mike, and Tyler), and they all do a first class job! They stand by their work, and aways back it up!! Wish there were more companies like theirs!
