Hosford Plumbing is an amazing family-owned business. Mark and his son are doing the field work, while his wife is handling the office. We had a water heater leak and were stuck without hot water. Mark was able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone with me sending pictures of our installation. This saved a roundtrip to just look at the situation and got us back up and running in 2 days. He brought the new water heater and also noticed a few valves that needed to be replaced. The install took a good while but they explained everything in detail, and did a great job.
Mark is more than willing to give you advice over the phone and he is very knowledgeable about various plumbing installations.
We can only highly recommend Hosford Plumbing and will use them again.

Mark was fantastic to work with. My hot water tank in my vacation home sprung a leak. I needed a new hot water tank and Hosford Plumbing came to the rescue. We were able to handle the details over the phone.
Mark and his son removed the damaged hot water tank and installed the new tank with all new fittings. Excellent communication, fast efficient, detailed and reasonably priced. When and if I need a plumber for future issues I will definitely be calling Hosford Plumbing.

The Hosford's are a great Father and Son team and installed a Navien NPE 240A tankless hot water heater at our home. They are certified Navien installers so knowledgeable about the equipment and the installation. They were honest, diligent, and offered very competitive pricing. As far as the equipment goes, we could not be happier. Our home is over 100 feet long, has 5 bathrooms and 14 sinks. We had two 50 gallon tanks together at one end and a circulation system. It could run at set times, run constantly (which waisted a tremendous amount of propane) or from a push a button in the house. Basically, the system was inefficient, inadequate and inconvenient. After the Hosfords installed the Navien we now have unlimited hot water and not wasting propane keeping 100 gallons hot. The Navien's built-in circulation system works flawlessly and we find that setting it at 120 degrees is adequate. I looked at several other tankless installs prior to doing our job and none turned out as well (esthetically) and those using other brands had to set the temperature higher to achieve a satisfactory result. Because the other brands did not have a built-in circulation pump they had to use an external pump and have the inconvenience as I previously described or if they had a pump it worked on Wi-Fi which again, seems inconvenient. Navien offers a Wi-Fi add-on however it seems totally unnecessary as, in my opinion, their standard system is by far superior. It monitors the temperature of the circulation line and heats the water in the line when the temperature falls 20 degrees below your set temperature so you always have very warm to hot water at every fixture immediately depending on when the line was last automatically heated. If the circulation line has not been heated for a while the hot water is adequate to start and reaches full potential quickly. -- Of course, there has to be a circulation line already installed in the home for this to work. If not, Navien has a less expensive model without the built-in pump. It takes a knowledgeable installer for this all to work as intended and I recommend Hosford Plumbing.

We have a ""Navien"" brand Tankless Instant recirculating hot water system that stopped heating our water. Hosford is one of several plumbers listed on the Navien website, as authorized plumbing contractors to service their equipment. I called them and the owner (Mark Hosford) was very knowledgeable with Navien and the problem I described to him, and Mark gave me some procedures I could try first on my own, to avoid me having to pay for service (VERY rare to have a contractor give you advice on the phone to avoid hiring them) The tips Mark gave me did not solve the issue so I scheduled his service. He came the next day with his son and they were both very knowledgeable plumbers and both really understood how Navien's complicated electronics work and diagnosed and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. And, just as important, their total charges for parts and labor were extremely reasonable. A side note, I also asked about other potential plumbing issues and it's clear to me that Mark and his son could handle any of your plumbing problems. I highly recommend them.

Make sure you get a written quote before authorizing work or you may get major sticker shock as I did. I feel I was overcharged and will never use this plumbing company again.
