They are all nothing but salesmen and have hidden charges financing is about the only thing they have on most companies, but it's messed up because they will charge you 10 times more than what it should cost so you're sitting there paying it off for the rest of your life...
BEWARE!!!! It's bad enough their work clearly speaks for itself in the previous reviews but apart from being poor technicians they are DISHONEST. One of their drivers opened their car door into traffic while I was driving and side swiped the entire front of my SUV, taking off my mirror and denting my hood, door and side panel. At the scene he apologized and took full responsibility to me that he wasn't looking and wrongfully opened the door into traffic. However his story changed when their insurance company got involved and he lied and said I hit an already open door! COULD NOT BE MORE UNTRUE. There was police involved as well. The flat out lie and denial now of their insurance company to pay for the load of damages is extremely upsetting especially during the holiday season when expenses are at an all time high. I am so utterly disgusted with dishonest people and trust me, this is not the last this company will hear from me. I will be taking this up the ladder because not only is it a big expense but NOW IT IS ABOUT PRINCIPLE.
lori l.I would never recommend this company to anyone. I had a small leak in the bathroom. I had an appointment yesterday from 12-4, at 4:45 I had to call them and they said they tech was running late. Late was not the word at 7:30 no tech and I had to make yet another phone call . They told me me he was running a bit behind. A Bit Behind was not the word! I told them I do not want someone coming to my house at 8pm at night so cancel the appointment and give me one for the next day. They gave me an appointment for the next day between 2-4. At 5pm I called them and they said I canceled my appointment yesterday and never made an appointment for today. Horrible customer service, no communication skills. Don't use them.
I am so disgusted with this company. They came to complete a heater tuneup and my pilot light went out causing me to be without heat here in NJ. They came out a few days later after they ordered the part to repair. Without my authorization they installed a control board, which was not being covered by them $900. They informed me if this after it was installed.
I will not be using them again.

As already stated here multiple times, Horizon customer service is atrocious. I scheduled an appt. for plumbing services (toilets I can't get to stop running). They called the day prior and said they needed to reschedule due to lack of tech availability. Ok, no problem, I get it, stuff happens. Reschedule for following week.
Window of 10am to 12 pm comes and goes. I call at 1230pm. They state they called 3 times and due to not getting in contact cancelled my appointment. This is ludicrous. They stated they called 3 times, they only called once, at 1058am. Gee, I didn't answer my phone, nah, just cancel? Wow.
Rep on the phone blatantly lied to a first time customer. They've lost me and I will warn anyone and everyone to not use their services. Total garbage company.
Charged $763 for replacing a bathroom faucet ( I purchased faucet myself). Called the office about exorbitant price charged but never received a call back. ill be losing their number!!
I called on Friday evening, my air conditoner stopped working. Horizon was able to send a technician the next day between 12:00 and 4:00pm. I received a call from Horizon my tech. would arrive between 2:30 and 3:30pm. Jermaine arrived at 2:40pm. He was courteous and understood the problem right away. He was able to get the air running and explained what had happened. I was very pleased with the service a received and Jermaine was great.
I'd like to file a complaint. I schedule your services last Thursday to fix my AC for today 8-12pm. At 12pm I called only to find out I was cancelled without notice. I was told I received a phone call but that's not true. There I no record on my cell. Now you're costing me an extra $220 to have your competitors come out same day to service my AC that's not working. It is now my goal to share this with all and every social media platform and with every ear I talk to until I feel like my $220 has been recouped. Worst customer service I have ever received from your company. Who cancels without notifying their customer. I cleared my day to have this addressed so my time is also being wasted because of you.
Horizon Services is not available 24/7! They fixed my unit about a month ago and it stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year. They weren't available for same day service and scheduled me for two days later, even though I have health problems and this was a return visit. On the day of my appointment, they called to cancel at 1:30 during my 12-4 window. The dispatcher continuously double-talked and couldn't give me a good reason for cancellation. I'm assuming they were overbooked and since I was a return visit, they might not make as much money from me. The dispatcher was very rude and kept repeating that she didn't have anyone to send out. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told no one was available. This is not a professional way to run a business and a terrible way to treat a repeat customer. BTW, I spent about $1500 on the last service. They shouldn't advertise that they have same day service and are available 24/7 if they can't honor their ad. They need to hire more people or change their ad if they can't handle the volume of people who need service. They advertise their great service and how they are there to help people in need. There was no care or concern for me or my health issues during a heat wave. I didn't receive any service or help at all. They not only didn't have the courtesy to keep my appointment, they didn't have the courtesy to give me notice. They cancelled right in the middle of my appointment and acted like it was no big deal. This shouldn't have happened and at the very least, they should have been apologetic instead of rude. I would not recommend calling them in an emergency. They have proven to be unreliable, unprepared, and unkind.
Stated I needed freon but overlooked a leaking king value. Had real hvac tech out next day and they noticed it first thing. Charged ridiculous amount for freon, no freon was in unit the next day. Total charges were $600 for nothing!
