part 2. I was hoping these folks would see the review and do the courtesy of calling and offering an explanation and provide receipts and details of what they did to justify an excessive charge. They did not which only leads me to believe that this is a company to avoid. They lack all credibility for their failure to account for what they did. I do not recommend and I still want my receipts . Perhaps I'll place stop payment on the check maybe that will get their attention

I've used Horizon Services many times in MD without issue. I like that their employees are background and drug tested and that they hire veterans. They have always done good work and so when our toilet in Delaware needed replacing, they were the first I called.

The tech diagnosed the issue and we decided to upgrade the toilet since he had to pull it out anyway. The one we wanted was supposed to take 3 weeks to order and they would call when it was in to schedule installaion.

This is when the issues started. After over a month, I called wondering when the toilet would be ready to install and miraculously it had just been received..... so I scheduled an installation. The technician never showed up and when I called, they had never put the install on the schedule. They offered me a discount and re-scheduled.

The technician arrived on time and took over 2 hours to install, but maybe thats typical. It wasn't until after he left that I noticed that the supply line had been bent and was not perpendicular to the wall. Also the toilet has a slow leak inside and periodically refills the tank.

I called and asked for a plumbing supervisor and none were available but they took my information and said they would call. One week later, after no one called, I called again and there was ""no record"" of my calling or requesting a plumbing supervisor. So I made the same request again. Again, there was no one available to talk to and they took my information.

It's now been over 3 weeks since the installation and no one has called me back. The supply line is still bent, the toilet still runs and I don't expect to hear from them again. They certainly won't be hearing from me either.

Now I have to find another plumber to fix their mess.

Prompt and courteous service. Thoroughly checked my system, took video and photos of problems, explained possible options and schedules sales consultant since my 11 yr old HVAC needs replacement.
Update; Within 24 hrs my new HVAC system was installed. The crew are wonderful, taking great care to protect my home - little things like always putting on shoe covers when coming into the house show respect and commitment to quality service. As for the new HVAC, it's only been one night - but I've never gotten the heat in the master suite as warm as the rest of the house. Last night I enjoyed a warm environment all night. I am thrilled to think I may feel comfortable (and safer) without a space heater at night and a large fan in summer. And with a 12 year parts and labor warranty! I really will sleep better.

Cannot say good enough about him, polite, thorough, respectful of property, works through problems calmly, techie smart and does due diligence to get the job done, and done CORRECTLY! Very pleasant personality, a great PR asset to the company in my opinion.
