Had a unit installed by Horizon 8 years ago. Have had nothing but trouble with the unit since. Had several service calls throughout the winter due to No heat. had over 4 tech's out all said the issue was something different. One technician advised he could not go into our attic due to ""a bad leg"" and that is where our heat pump is located. Other tech said a squirrel chewed through a wire- the next tech said screws were loose. Still had not resolved the issue. Had to put our heat into emergency back up heat which caused our electric bill to sky rocket. Asked for a service manager to call me back to discuss. He came out and said ""nothing wrong with unit"" and never called me back. I'm presuming because I'm a woman and he said ""I spoke with your husband"" thats rude and unprofessional since I am the one that requested to speak. Now, over the weekend- our unit started leaking water severely, down our walls ruining our paint- across our hardwood floors causing them to bubble. I contacted horizon immediately and was told this is not an emergency. Called back to get a sooner appointment since we were promised ""priority service"" which means absolutely nothing. Still no appointment could be accommodated so I called the service manager and was told ""i barely have enough techs working this weekend"" again not sure how that is our problem. I contacted horizon three times today to speak with a complaints manager and for over 45 minutes and three separate calls- never got to speak to anyone and got absolutely nowhere. My husband is one week post back surgery and HE had to climb into the attic to determine the problem. The customer service has always been horrible- they promise everything under the sun and follow through on NONE of it. Our newly renovated walls are ruined due to the water damage- which no one at horizon found to be an emergency. It was 75 degrees over the weekend so it is my understanding a leaking unit THEY installed would take priority over a no ac call.
I've been a customer of horizon services for over 7 years have always had good quality service until recently. I called to schedule a routine air conditioning service and was told I had to wait 5 months this is totally unacceptable I suggest going somewhere else for routine service or scheduling at least 6 months ahead of time.
Horrible job...just a mess left behind after spending $3500. I supposedly could not use the coupon. I will use the 3 year warranty if needed, but my other services will be maintained by another company:
Although their in stallion service is A+ their customer service is a F-. They promise to inspect and maintain your Heating and Air Conditionig BUT Schedule you many months after you call. This despite the fact that if you request the same service as a new customer you can get service in one week. Further if you pursue this they will hang up on you ( Genevieve). also they promise a call back from higher management in two hours . It is now 3 days and no call.
I have been a loyal customer since the 1980s. Their customer service has really disintegrated.
Two months ago, I had my unit serviced and the technician did not have the right size filter. It took a month to finally get them to send me the right size. I called 5 times and asked to speak to a supervisor. I couldn't get anyone to call me back, even though I explained I wanted to consider them for servicing the AC in my second home.
I called again last week and left a very detailed message. They still won't return my call.
I find this behavior rude and unprofessional. If I can't even get them to return 6 phone calls inquiring about new business, how can I trust them to do a professional job.
I have been a client for nearly 40 years. The way they have treated me is abominable.
I have used ServiceMark for heating and plumbing service for decades now.
Their technicians are very polite and neat; treat your home with respect, and fix it right the first time.
They have ""bailed me out"" of several crises over the years; once when the compressor in my heat pump seized in the middle of winter, and just recently when a water pipe in the basement began to leak on a weekend.
No need to go elsewhere in my opinion, not when you are receiving quality service already . . .
On 4/18/19 scheduler called to confirm I was home as tech was on his way to do annual A/C check-up. Truck pulled up 20 minutes later and guy sat in truck for 5-10 minutes and then drove off. Never got out to even knock on the door. I called scheduler back to advise what happened and was told they would contact the tech and have him call me directly. No call back, no nothing. Lousy follow-up & no service.
I have a service contract with this company for one year from an AC and heater, they e-mailed me last week and said that I need my heater checked free of charge under contract, so I made appointment for February 15, 2018 the gentleman came he was very nice he put his his booties on over his shoes check my heater out everything looks good we talk little bit and he was on his way very nice dress his uniform very polite I will recommend this company to anybody and I will renew my service contract again
1 star for miscommunication of the appointment time by sales person.
100 stars for the office lady Emily for her professionalism and wonderful assistance and all stars in the sky go to Rich the technician who installed our water heater. He did an excellent job and is professional, kind and courteous.
