I had worked on projects with Allen since 2009 about 15 years. Allen committed to coming to my house to fix a leak on last Thursday. He diagnosed and found it, but it took long than he expected to fix as he had another client commitment after me and was running up against a timeline. So, he cashed out his service ticket and I paid him what I owed him for that day which included 1 trip charge. Today Monday 3 days later, he spends 2.5 more hours on the problem and doesn't fully fix it because he claimed that it is over his head, and he doesn't have the capacity to do it. So, I agreed to pay him for what he did and find someone else who can do a preventive check on the pipes, so I don't have any more leaks. Allen charges me for another trip fee. The leak should have been fixed the first day. Since Allen had an appointment and couldn't finish the job all at once the trip fee shouldn't have applied again. Allen charges multiple trip fees to his clients to pad his invoices. The rates appear normal but beware if Allen charges you double trip fees the rates are much higher. I would have him do a job all at once, so you aren't charged multiple trip fees. Today Allen lost a long-time client. By his actions he doesn't seem to value his clients!

Allen was great! I had a leak from my shower upstairs that was causing some staining on the ceiling the floor below it. He's a very honest and nice guy. Very skilled in what he does and was very knowledgeable when asking him questions. Highly recommend him to do your plumbing work.

Allen is great. We got his number from the previous owner of our house. We had trouble with our water heater and he was able to come out the next day and let us know what the problem might be. Since he knew it was less than 2 years old, he recommended we see if the parts and labor could be covered under warranty with the water heater company instead of just replacing them himself. Super honest and straightforward. Will definitely be using him in the future.
